Chapter 41: Marisa’s Perilous Encounter
At Saint Patrick Catholic Church, the sacred space teemed with an overflow of worshippers, encompassing a diverse spectrum of individuals hailing from varied socioeconomic backgrounds. In the midst of this congregational assembly, Marisa occupied her seat, engrossed in the Reverend’s sermon, her countenance reflective of a solemn contemplation. The Reverend sermon was centered on the theme of love, yet Marisa found her thoughts drifting off to Dave.
The recent transformation of their relationship into a romantic relationship the previous evening inflicted a poignant ache upon her. This emotional distress was compounded by the realization that Dave held the distinction of being her first boyfriend in five years. However, the magnitude of her sorrow was further compounded by the fact that Dave’s tragic demise was as a result of the decisions she had made. She felt a heavy burden of guilt because the choices she made were the ones that ultimately caused Dave’s untimely death.
Looking back, the lingering advice from Alejandro echoed in her mind. If she had only listened to his warning and avoided intertwining her destiny with Dave’s, the tragic story might have been prevented. However, a conflict brewed inside Marisa, doubting if Alejandro really had the right to give such advice. Strongly disagreeing, she insisted that Alejandro had no business meddling in the fabric of her life or deciding how she should connect with others.
Her feelings solidified into a strong claim of independence, stating that sharing an intimate night with Alejandro didn’t give him the right to limit her choices. Marisa firmly defended her right to choose who she spends time with and make clear decisions about those she prefers to keep at a distance. In her eyes, Alejandro’s counsel was unwarranted interference, and she defiantly asserted her entitlement to navigate the labyrinth of her life guided solely by her own volition.
As the reverend’s sermon echoed through the sacred space, Marisa, in quiet supplication, began a silent plea. “Dear God, though I’m not a frequent visitor to Your house, I come today with a painful request,” she whispered. A pause lingered before she resumed, “There’s a devil haunting me since I spent a night with him, and I ask for your intervention. I don’t want to see him again; please, remove him from my life. Take his life…”
Suddenly, a thunderous “BANG!” shattered the solemnity as the church doors swung open in a rough manner, interrupting Marisa’s unfinished prayer.
In the sacred silence of the church, a collective hush fell as all eyes converged on the entrance. Marisa’s heart raced, its beats echoing in the sudden stillness. The air thickened with tension as Alejandro and his menacing entourage strode in, their hands gripping sophisticated weaponry that gleamed ominously.
As Marisa locked eyes with Alejandro, the source of her pain and fears, disbelief held her captive. It was hard to believe that the very devil she sought refuge from in prayer now stood in the same building with her. A gasp caught in her throat, suspended in the charged atmosphere, as Alejandro’s gaze met hers, intertwining fate and fear in an unspoken connection.
A dangerous smirk played on Alejandro’s lips, and he and his men walked right into the church in a majestic manner. Alejandro and his twin brother, Alexandro, along with some of their men, had cigarettes in their mouths, smoking inside the church like it was no big deal.
The reverend remained standing on the altar, looking shocked as Alejandro and his men got closer to the altar. Without wasting time, the reverend ran through a backdoor behind the altar, like he was being chased by something unseen.
“Go after that bastard!!!” Alejandro yelled, urging his men to chase after the fleeing reverend. Alexandro also joined in the chase, and they all ram through the backdoor on the altar. As they sprinted in pursuit, Alejandro stayed composed, choosing not to join the chase. Instead, he calmly advanced towards the altar, reaching it without haste. Once there, he ascended the platform and confidently seized the microphone.
The church members, gripped by fear and shock, fell into a stunned silence. Not a word escaped their lips; all they could manage was to gaze wide-eyed at Alejandro. He stood at the altar, cigarette in hand, an imposing figure that held the entire congregation captive as he took control of the microphone.
“Good morning, children of God, I suppose,” Alejandro began, a mischievous smirk lingering on his lips. “I know most of you’re wondering why we came here and why we interrupted your service. Well, we didn’t come here to worship God or whoever you’re worshipping. We came here to KILL!”
His ominous words hung heavily in the air, sending shivers through the already terrified congregation. The church, once a sanctuary of peace, now resonated with an unsettling tension as Alejandro’s chilling declaration echoed in the sacred space.
“Don’t be scared. I’m not gonna kill you,” Alejandro said, his smirk widening. “And the reason why I’m not gonna kill you is because my sweetheart is here.” His eyes locked onto Marisa, causing her eyes to widen in shock. Confusion spread through the church as everyone started looking around, trying to discern who Alejandro was referring to as his sweetheart.
Alejandro continued, “Now, I want you all to get the fuck out of this church within ten seconds!” The urgency in his command hung in the air, propelling the congregation into a frantic scramble as they hurriedly made their way towards the exit, fear etched across their faces.
The moment Alejandro uttered those words, a chaotic exodus ensued as everyone rushed out of the church, driven by a primal instinct to escape the looming threat. Marisa, too, joined the frantic stream heading towards the exit, determined to put distance between herself and the unfolding danger. However, just as she neared the church’s threshold, Alejandro’s authoritative voice resonated, freezing her in her tracks. This belongs to NôvelDrama.Org - ©.
“Stop right there, sweetheart! You’re not permitted to go out!” Alejandro declared, discarding the microphone with a dismissive gesture. Swiftly descending from the altar, he advanced towards Marisa, each deliberate step echoing in the now-empty church. Marisa, paralyzed with fear, stood rooted to her spot, her nerves intensifying with every approaching footfall. As the church emptied, leaving only an eerie silence in its wake, Marisa and Alejandro found themselves alone in the hallowed space.
Alejandro continued smoking as he approached Marisa. Her back was facing him, so he could observe her posture. His attention, however, was solely fixed on her backside as he approached her. Mere staring at her backside gave him a strong boner, and he felt like fucking her right there. An uncomfortable tension hung in the air, and as he drew nearer, Marisa, still frozen in place, could sense the intensity of his gaze.
The atmosphere became charged with an unsettling energy, and Marisa felt a growing unease. The deserted church echoed with the hollow sound of Alejandro’s footsteps, underscoring the isolation of this ominous encounter.
Alejandro finally got to her, and she gasped when she felt his arm wrapping around her waist from behind, and he pulled her closer to himself, making her backside rest on him. She gulped when she felt his erection, and her heart started racing at their closeness.
“Sweetheart,” Alejandro whispered into her ear, his warm breath gently caressing her neck and causing her to shiver slightly. “I’m quite surprised to find you here because I wasn’t expecting you to be a churchgoer.”
Marisa, caught in the disconcerting embrace, struggled to find her voice. The closeness of their bodies heightened the unease, and despite her instinct to push him away and flee, fear paralyzed her. The memory of Alejandro’s ruthless act, feeding Dave to crocodiles without remorse, loomed large in her mind, intensifying the grip of dread that kept her rooted in place.
“Sweetheart,” Alejandro continued, his hand moving under her black gown. “Do you know why we always find ourselves crossing paths, even when it’s unplanned? Have you ever wondered why you encounter me everywhere you go?”
Marisa, trapped in a turmoil of fear and discomfort, found herself unable to respond as Alejandro’s right hand was already under her gown, and his fingers shifted her panties, causing her breathe to become unsteady and her body to shiver.
“Seems like you don’t know the reason why we always encounter each other,” Alejandro said, his voice carrying a mixture of amusement and something more sinister. “Well, I’m gonna tell you the reason why, and the reason is because you belong to me. YOU ARE MINE, MARISA.”
