Firework 15

After returning home from the hospital, Jared and I had dinner together at his parents‘ house. They also invited my family to discuss the wedding plans, which were set to take place after Jared turned 20. While I was getting ready, Jared came up to me and complimented, “Why are you getting more gorgeous day by day?” Then he kissed my neck softly.

“Stop trying to be sweet,” I replied, playfully swatting him away. “Let me fix your tie. It’s a family dinner, after all, so you have to look neat.‘

As I adjusted his tie, Jared watched me with a deep, affectionate gaze.

A sudden curiosity struck me, and I asked, “By the way, yesterday I saw you hanging out with Thomas.. It seems like you two have become closer, almost more than just Alpha and Beta. When did that happen?”

“You noticed?” Jared responded, a smile tugging at his lips. “It was Thomas who made me realize a few things, which, in turn, brought us closer. He was also the one who convinced you to visit me, right? Even George couldn’t manage that.”

“It’s George’s fault for always teasing me. That’s why I don’t trust him,” I grumbled.

Jared chuckled and ruffled my hair. Then he asked, “Do you want to hear what Thomas told me after he went back from Promise High? He sounded like the wisest person in the world.”

I smiled and nodded eagerly. “Tell me.”

Jared continued, “Thomas said, ‘Olivia won’t leave you because of a few mistakes, she left because you made it a habit. The truth is, she would rather fix things with you than reject you and start over with someone new. She stayed for two years because she hoped you’d step up and be the man she deserved. So don’t ever think she’ll always understand and never leave you. Don’t get comfortable, because there might come a time when Olivia will also get tired and eventually give up.‘ That’s it.” Material © of NôvelDrama.Org.

I smiled, but tears welled up in my eyes at his words.

Jared gently wiped away my tears before he showed his gratitude, “Thank you for giving me another chance to fill your heart again. I’m lucky to receive so much love from you, my most beautiful thing on earth.”

My heart was beating fast because of his words and embarrassment surged through my body. “Alright, our parents must be waiting for too long. Let’s go to dinner,” I replied, trying to hide my embarrassment from Jared’s heartfelt words.

Jared pouted playfully. “Olivia, I was still trying to be romantic.”

“Save it for tonight, honey,” I teased, winking at him.

Jared smirked and responded, “Naughty baby.”

When we arrived at Jared’s parents‘ house, we enjoyed a lively dinner filled with laughter and conversation. Jared’s mother even shared some embarrassing stories from his childhood.

“Mom, stop it,” he complained, clearly embarrassed, but we all just laughed and continued talking.

In the end he didn’t want to lose and asked my mother to tell me about my childhood. It was indeed fun to think about how much teasing we would get in the future when remembering that day.

After my parents left, Jared and I said goodbye to his parents and headed back to our house.

To my surprise,, Serena spoke shyly in my mind, ‘Olivia, he’s in heat. Will you let me take over? I miss Black so much.

‘Sure, after me,‘ I replied with a smile.

When we got to our bedroom, I asked Jared, “Are you in heat right now?”

Jared nodded but said, “But I’m not going to push you. I‘ ll only do it if you want to.”

I smiled and teased, “Now or never.”
