Chapter 11
Chapter 11
Every five seconds I would touch my lips overwhelmed by the fact that I was just kissed.
I wasn't kissed by just any person though I was kissed by Roxy.
The girl who was now my girlfriend and I felt like it was all a dream that I would wake up from any
second.
I now wondered what Brayden would think or do even though that should have been the last thing on
my mind.
He's kinda been to himself not even bothering me when he was here.
He probably felt bad for hurting his sister becoming like the man that hurt her on the regular. All text © NôvelD(r)a'ma.Org.
Him and his sister had been gone on a trip they were due back in a month.
It was probably good for those two to bond and escape their father for a while.
I groaned when I felt a feeling of sadness overcoming me all of a sudden..
I needed to be happy sometimes I became a little sad because I cared a lot about people. Even those
that hurt.
I pushed the covers off me grabbing clothes so I could take a shower and get ready for the day.
I headed into the bathroom, nothing weird coming out of nowhere distracting me for once.
As I undressed and stepped into the shower my mind drifted back to Roxy.
She was my girlfriend now and I still couldn't believe it.
After she kissed me she asked me if I wanted to be her boyfriend and she looked so pretty as she
stared at me with her brightened blue eyes.
Of course I said yes I'll love to have the chance to hold her, having her lips against mine, or telling her I
loved her.
It was all a dream at first now becoming a reality I never thought would exist.
I finished up in the shower and got dressed heading downstairs for breakfast.
As soon as I reached the kitchen Roxy tugged me in excitingly while I stared down at her confusingly.
She made me sit beside her and her mother grinned at me as her father simply nodded at me.
“I knew Roxy liked you” She said smiling and I smiled back at her.
“You better treat her right or I'll…” Her dad began to say but didn't finish because Roxy glared at him.
“It's okay Roxy I was just playing with him. I’m just trying to give him a hard time” He said smiling.
I felt my heart returning to its usually steady beat because I was actually a little scared.
Her dad was so intimidating his darkened eyes looked to be able to peer into her soul.
I ate breakfast smiling happily at her family as they chatted cheerfully.
Roxy and her sister argue every once in a while but sometimes they would engage in a conversation
that made them smile.
Her mom and dad were staring at each other smiling. Roxy’s dad would spare sudden glances at us
before his wife would turn to glare at her smirking husband.
They all were happy reminding me of what I didn't have.
I sighed, shaking my head trying to rid myself of the negative thoughts.
I was living a good life now and I didn't have anything to bother me anymore.
I had a girlfriend I truly and dearly cared for who also made me happy.
I would have never guessed when I was younger I would be living like this.
I would never have guessed a day in my life I would actually get the chance to date Roxy.
I smiled to myself finishing up breakfast and heading to do my chores for today.
I had to clean up the living room and kitchen so I went off beginning with the mess in the living room..
An hour or two later I was finished deciding to just head to my room.
I walked upstairs running into Roxy who smiled at me.
“Hey are you done cleaning” She asked, wrapping her arms around me and I nodded smiling down at
her.
“Great because I need to make another run to the store we're running low on some stuff” She said,
fanning a list in front of my face.
I followed her into her car talking about the events of yesterday.
Once arriving in the store we went around making sure we found everything.
We were in line when we saw an older couple laughing and hugging each other as they walked through
the store.
They looked nice, maybe a couple that's been together for some years.
Then my attention was snapped towards Roxy who was now groaning all of a sudden.
She was rubbing her head as she hit it against a shelf looking for candy.
She saw me staring at her and sat up straight acting as if nothing happened. She whistled to herself
glancing around when she also noticed them.
She smiled to herself and mumbled "I hope Aiden and I end up like that someday."
I don't believe she knew I heard what she said so she looked at me a little confused as to why I was
staring at her still with such an odd expression.
I simply smiled, kissing her gently on the forehead as she began giggling.
We stood in the long line finally making it to the front so that we could pay for what we bought.
We placed the bags in the trunk before getting back into her car.
I watched her as she drove the words from what she said earlier coming back to me.
I smiled who would have ever thought that I would have gotten the girl of my dreams.
