When I Met You

Chapter 10 I Love My Husband

Chapter 10 I Love My Husband

Susan stared at Jarvis. Jarvis yelled out that sentence and startled her to the extent that she didn’t

know how to respond. It was only when the car stopped in front of a jewelry shop did Susan come to

her senses.

She raised her head to look at Jarvis and pondered before saying, “There is no way that we can Content protected by Nôv/el(D)rama.Org.

reconcile.”

“Why not?” Jarvis stared with determination at Susan.

Susan bit her lips and lowered her head for a while before saying, “Because I love my husband.”

She used this reason to dodge Jarvis. Susan knew that although she hated Jarvis, she still had the love

for him as when they were younger.

Kendra was Kendra and Jarvis was Jarvis. She hated Kendra. But she didn’t want Jarvis to be

sandwiched in between. In the future, she would settle her score with Kendra by herself, and how

Jarvis thought of his mother was his problem.

After Susan said this, Jarvis’s expression became colder. He didn’t want to give Susan a chance to say

anything and pulled her into the jewelry store.

“Take out a hundred of the most expensive rings that you have!” The way he said it was like he was

robbing the shop. If it was not for Jarvis’ dressing and poise, the shop attendants might have called the

police.

Susan struggled to pull her hand away from Jarvis as she said to the saleslady, “No, I don’t want any

rings.”

“Choose! I’ll compensate you for the ring that I threw away!” Jarvis didn’t let Susan leave and forced

Susan to remain.

Susan didn’t even look at the rings. Did she want the rings? What do the rings represent?

There was once she wanted to be married to him. But now… she can’t anymore and she didn’t want

anymore. Jarvis saw that Susan was not moving and asked the sales lady to take a ring for Susan to

try it on.

This ring did not have the largest diamond but it had the best design. In Jarvis’ eyes, this style befitted

Susan, it was simple yet elegant. But as soon as Susan saw the ring, she made the sales lady keep it

and turned to leave.

Jarvis blocked Susan again, “Why? Don’t you like this ring?”

Susan looked at Jarvis, “Stop it, this is meaningless.”

“Why is it meaningless? You said that you loved your husband. I absolutely don’t believe this.”

Jarvis turned Susan around to face him, “I know you. Apart from me, you can’t be in love with anyone

else.”

“Madam.” Just at this moment, Susan didn’t reply but suddenly a voice came from behind her.

Susan could recognize that it was Edward’s driver’s voice. She quickly turned around and thought that

Edward came. But she only saw Edward’s driver.

He slowly walked to Susan and gave a ring to Susan. It was the one that was thrown by Jarvis.

“Mr. Ford said, do not lose this ring. Although this ring is not worth much, the love between both of you

is priceless.”

Edward didn’t come but what the driver said meant that Edward had already seen what was going on

between her and Jarvis. After he said, the driver was about to turn and leave. Susan followed him out

just when Jarvis was distracted.

Thereafter Jarvis rushed out behind her.

Outside, a Maybach stopped nearby and Susan walked quickly towards Edward but he didn’t get out of

the car.

Before Susan could open the door, Jarvis knocked on the window and said to Edward, “Get out.”

“Stop it!”

Susan said and then went into the car. The driver ignored Jarvis and got into the car.

Inside the car, Edward’s face was cold as frost. He didn’t intend to open the window and said to the

driver, “Drive, let’s go.”
