A Vengeful Girl

Chapter 73 Do You Keep a Dog Too

Chapter 73 Do You Keep a Dog Too

"Cut the crap and drive." Lisa lost her temper again. What's more, she remembered clearly that she

was not allowed to tell anything except for the address. The driver's questions put her on edge.

The driver immediately stopped asking his well-intentioned questions.

As fas as he knew, there used to be a nightclub. He once drived someone there.

"Is she..."

He reluctantly shook his head at the thought and had a sympathetic glimpse of her, wondering why

such a beautiful girl would...

He then started the car and drove towards Junqing Road.

Along the way, Lisa kept asking how soon they would get there. Fortunately the driver was the one with

sound professional ethics, otherwise he would have asked her to get off the taxi.

Half an hour later, the taxi stopped at No. 48 Junqing Road.

The driver had a glance at the taximeter and said politely to Lisa, "That'll be 54, lady. Would you like to

pay in cash or by card?"

Lisa took out her bank card from her purse, "By card."

The driver took over her card and got confused. He rubbed his head and said, "Lady, are you kidding

me? How can I swipe this one?"

Lisa replied impatiently, "You did say that I can pay either in cash or by card, didn't you?" Haven't you

seen a bank card before?"

"What I mean is transportation card. My goodness!" Being a professional, the driver reined in his

temper and replied.

Cash? She threw him a hundred from her purse. "Keep the change."

Normally, Lisa would not pay in cash. The only reason for her to carry cash around was just because

her mother told her to do so in case of emergency.

She then got off the taxi and slammed the car door.

The driver shook his head with resignation and said to himself: "How can she behave like that? Just

because of some money? Let's see whether you could still be this cocky in a few years' time! Does she

really think that she is some kind of lady from a wealthy family? She is simply a prostitute selling out

her body for money."

After grumbling for a while, he drove off and and directed the exhaust gas onto Lisa's white dress,

leaving Lisa stamping her feet out of anger.

The sun was scorching. Lisa managed to see behind her fingers the house number.

Where on earth is No. 48?

Finally, after moving forward for over 328 ft, she caught the sight of it.

There was a big signboard hanging high, which read "Fairy Nightclub". The signboard was already

broken, and even the lights didn't work anymore.

It's just as dilapidated as the driver had described, buildings on this street had all been abandoned and

were planned to be pulled down in a few months.

Was this the place the guy meant?

Lisa wiped the sweat off her forehead and called the guy. She had not yet recovered since Johnson's

birthday party, Not to mention that she was pregnant and so she looked pale and felt exhausted.

The phone got through in a few seconds

"Arrived?"

The voice was as gentle as how it souded last time.

"Yes, I am already here. How come the door is closed? How are we supposed to meet?"

The curtain was drew aside a littile on the top floor of the nightclub.

"Walk 164 ft to your left and then take a right turn. There is a door. Go through the door and up to the

fourth floor. I'm in the third room. Don't go into the wrong room. There is your name on the door."

The guy finished his words and hanged up the phone.

Lisa felt a little strange but she did not give it a second thought. Her mother suggested that she should

turn to him for help and so he would definately help her. She therefore followed his instructions.

She pushed the room open. Inside the pitch-black room wafted a whiff of fragrance of eagle wood.

She could barely make out a male figure on a big sofa, whose finger was tapping on the nearby table.

The whole room was shrouded with an oppressive atmosphere.

She asked timidly, "Are you the one my mother told me to find? It's so dark. Why don't you turn on the

lights?"

Adam Huo turned back, sizing her up from head to toe.

"The switch is on your left." His voice was pleasant to hear.

Lisa felt her way and turned on the lights.

Immediately, the lights filled every corner of the room. She then saw clearly the man in front of her.

Sitting on the black couch in his black suit, the man looked as if he was melted into the couch. His pale

lips curved, presenting a vague smile that looked rather chilly.

The strangest thing of all was that his left eye was bizarrely covered by a black patch.

Two bodyguards next to him were also in black, without a trace of emotion on their face.

The room seemed to be divided into two parts by a big and thick curtain, behind which she could see

nothing.

"What's your name?" Lisa asked. Content bel0ngs to Nôvel(D)r/a/ma.Org.

"You will know my name later. Take a shower first. Clothes are already in the cabinet in the bathroom.

You can pick one. It must be hot outside. I guess you had a long trip."

The man spoke slowly with a pleasant voice.

Lisa was indeed covered in sweat. She simply assumed that the man's hospitality towards her was due

to his close tie with her mother.

Except for his bizarre patch, he was rather handsome and his voice was so pleasant to hear.

Besides, he had already knew that she was pregnant over the phone. Presumably, he wouldn't do

anything nasty.

"Thank you." Lisa nodded and went towards the bathroom.

While passing the man, she saw a dog chain on his table.

Lisa was fond of dogs. She could not help but gnash her teeth when she thought of her pet dog that

was killed by that bitch. Then she asked, "Do you keep a dog too?"

"What? Keep a dog? That's a good idea."

He sounded as if he did not have a dog. Lisa got confused.

But she did not give it more thoughts, for she was sticky all over. So she went to have a shower.

The shower seemed to have made her feel a lot better. But when she opened the cabinet, she was

surprised to find that...

There were only underwear in it ...

Lisa was caught up in shame and anger. Suddenly, the two bodyguards pushed the door open and

went in.

"Hey! What the hell are you doing!"

Two guys carried her out of bathroom without giving any explanation. In the room, the thick curtain was

drawn aside.

Lisa was thrown on to a mattress in handcuff.

"Let go of me. Aren't you my mother's friend? "What the hell are you doing?" Terrified, Lisa struggled to

break free. His evil smile looked horrifying.

"Friend? Well. Let me show you a video and then you can understand what kind of friends we are."

Adam Huo waved his hand and then the two poker-faced bodyguards turned on the TV and played a

video.
