After the Divorce: Crushed on My Lawyer Ex-wife

Chapter 237

#232 “You Saved Our Company.”

As soon as Sophia finished answering the reporters’ questions, a strong hand pulled her away. Before Sophia could react, Alexander kissed her passionately.

“I missed you so much, love,” Alexander whispered against her lips.

“Alexander!” Sophia gently scolded, though a smile tugged at her lips. “In front of everyone?”

“Let the world know how totally, madly in love with you I am,” Alexander declared. “You were amazing, love. You did it. After all your crazy stunts, you saved our company.”

“Our company?” Sophia laughed.

“During the divorce, you practically swiped half of the company from me,” replied Alexander with a playful grin.

“Oh, right,” Sophie chuckled. “I was a little upset, but I’ll gladly give it back to you now.”

“Don’t you dare! I like saying ‘our company.’ ‘Mine’ sounds so lonely.”

“Are you serious?”

“Absolutely,” Alexander affirmed. “Ah, now let’s go home because I intend to rip your dress off with my teeth.” He smirked. “I would do it here too, but…” Belonging to NôvelDrama.Org.

“No, no. We are going home,” Sophia interjected, her cheeks flushing at the suggestive promise.

Sophia couldn’t help but laugh at Alexander’s playful enthusiasm, feeling a rush of warmth and affection for him. She threaded her fingers through his, reveling in the feeling of his hand in hers.

“I missed you, Alex.” she chuckled. ” Every night when I was away from you was so lonely. I’m used to the two of us sleeping together.”

Alexander grinned mischievously, his eyes alight with excitement. “Oh, I don’t plan on either of us sleeping tonight.”

Together, they made their way out of the crowded conference room, the buzz of reporters and cameras fading into the background as they focused on each other. As they stepped out into the fresh air, Sophia felt a sense of relief wash over her. The weight of the world seemed to lift from her shoulders, replaced by a newfound sense of freedom and possibility.

As soon as they entered the apartment, Sophia was pleasantly surprised to find that Alexander had taken care of the mess left behind by his father. The space was clean and organized, with only the basic furniture remaining. She couldn’t help but feel a surge of admiration for him, marveling at how he had managed to overcome the scandal with such grace.

“Alex, this looks amazing,” Sophia exclaimed, turning to him with a smile. “I can’t believe you’ve cleaned everything up already.”

Alexander grinned, his eyes sparkling with pride. “I wanted us to start fresh, together,” he said. “I thought we could buy the rest of the furniture together or even hire a designer if you’d like.”

Sophia felt a rush of warmth at his words, touched by his thoughtfulness and consideration. She wrapped her arms around him, feeling grateful to have him by her side.

“I’d love that,” she said, pressing a kiss to his cheek. “Thank you, Alex.”

As they settled into the cozy living room, Alexander pulled Sophia close, his gaze softening as he looked into her eyes.

“You know, Sophia,” he began, his voice filled with emotion. “I can’t stop falling more and more in love with you every day.”

Sophia’s heart swelled with love at his words, feeling a deep connection with him that only seemed to grow stronger with each passing moment.

“And you, Alexander,” she replied, her voice barely above a whisper. “As much as I was impressed by your stoic behavior in front of the reporters when things got hot, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of admiration for you.”

Alexander smiled, brushing a strand of hair away from her face. “I was worried sick about the gallery stunt and the show at Big Ben,” he admitted. “But seeing how you handled everything with such grace and determination, only made me love you more. You’re truly incredible, Sophia.”

“Keep talking to me like that, Mr. Stone, and I won’t be able to resist you, “Sophia said, closing the distance between them.

“In that case, Sophia, you are magnificent, wonderful, elusive…”

Their lips met in a heated kiss, igniting a firestorm of passion that consumed them both.

Alexander’s hands roamed eagerly over Sophia’s body, tracing the curves of her silhouette with a gentle touch that left her trembling with desire. With a soft gasp, Sophia melted into his embrace, her fingers tangling in his hair as she pulled him closer, their bodies molding together as if they were made for each other.

The heat of their passion seemed to engulf them, wrapping them in a cocoon of desire that left them breathless and yearning for more. Lost in the intensity of their connection, they moved as one, their movements fluid and synchronized.

As their passion reached its peak, they tumbled into a whirlwind of ecstasy, as they soared to heights of pleasure they had never known before. In that fleeting moment, nothing else mattered but the love they shared.

“Love, I know you’re tired from the road, but I’m just getting started with you. You’re all mine tonight, and I won’t let you go,” Alexander whispered huskily, his voice tinged with desire.

Sophia’s eyes sparkled with anticipation as she met his gaze, a playful smile dancing on her lips. “Why do you think I had different plans for you?” she teased, her voice laced with a hint of mischief, before closing the distance between them and capturing his lips in a passionate kiss.
