Back in Time: Unshackling From Love (Mikayla Davidson)

Chapter 36

Chapter 36

Taylor looked at Mikayla with a hint of sarcasm.

“Do you think Ansoft would give up such a big opportunity and cooperate with us when Bernhal hasn’t even made a bid?”

Mikayla said, “Under normal circumstances, no. But with the right push, it might happen.

“Oh?”

Taylor adjusted his sitting posture. He seemed interested in what Mikayla had to say next.

Mikayla unlocked her phone, found some information, and handed it to Taylor.

“I used my connections and discovered something about Johnny Lane, Ansoft’s person in charge. I heard that, except for his exclusive formulas, he managed to start his winery with the financial support of his in–laws. So, he’s quite influenced by his wife and is a henpecked husband.”

“So you’re planning to convince him to cooperate with us through his wife?”

Taylor’s tone turned dark. His patience was running thin.

He thought Mikayla had an excellent idea. But he found her idea to be disappointing.

He pushed Mikayla’s phone away.

“This matter is related to Ansoft’s future. Even his wife wouldn’t make such a hasty

decision.”

Mikayla sensed Taylor’s impatience.

She smiled casually.

“Mr. Blue, take another look at this.”

She pulled up a photo.

In the photo stood Johnny and his wife with an elderly lady in a wheelchair.

“This old lady is Johnny’s mother–in–law. A few months ago, she had a severe heart attack and was on the brink of death. A nurse intervened in time and saved her life. So, his wife is particularly grateful for that.”

Taylor remained silent, waiting for Mikayla to continue.

“This nurse is my close friend, and she helped me contact Mrs. Lane. I made an

appointment with Mrs. Lane to meet her at her house tomorrow morning. I’ll bring the proposal with me.”

Mikayla handed the simplified proposal to Taylor.

“To avoid unnecessary complexity, I’ve made a concise proposal. Take a look.”

Taylor took it, and a hint of surprise appeared on his face.

“It’s only been a few hours since you lost your USB drive this morning. You’ve done so much within such a short time?

Mikayla calmly replied, “It’s not easy to get such an opportunity. Of course, I can’t miss it.

It was purely coincidental that Celeste managed to hook her up with Betty Holmes, Johnny’s wife.

She received Celeste’s call when she exited Miller Group, Celeste told her that her visa had been successfully processed and that she could go to Lumina.

After congratulating Celeste, she expressed her frustration about her wasted effort on Ansoft’s proposal.

Celeste asked, “Ansoft Enterprise? Are they the ones that produce white wine?”

“Yes. Have you heard about them?”

Celeste then told Mikayla the story of her rescuing Betty’s mother.

“Mrs. Lane and her mother are very close to each other. She kept thanking me and even gave me a good luck charm. I heard that Mr. Lane listens to his wife very well I can help hook you up with Mrs. Lane if you want to meet her.” Owned by NôvelDrama.Org.

The world was unexpectedly small.

Who would have thought that Celeste knew Johnny’s wife? She then spent a few hours modifying the proposal.

Only the company’s professionals would want to see the detailed proposal. Mikayla only had to explain the benefits and responsibilities to Betty.

Not bad,” Taylor sincerely praised her after reading the proposal.

“The data is concise, and it covers all aspects.”

“But don’t you think our share percentage is a bit low?”

Mikayla confidently said, “The share percentage is just right. I’ve analyzed everything, and this is the optimal ratio. Ansoft is a well–known enterprise. They wouldn’t be willing to give up too much ownership.”

She had determined the share ratio based on Miller Group’s ownership from the previous life. She intentionally kept it low by half to ensure success.

Mocato Investment was not as influential as Miller Group. It was a reasonable compromise.

Taylor didn’t insist further.

“Do you need me to send someone to accompany you tomorrow?”
