intimate she was sure that they'd been having that secret affair for a very long time.
Roseline rushed out of the elevator in hurried steps. She balled her hand into a fist in anger not expecting to see what Henry would chase after. She still doesn't have a full understanding why he would cheat on her with her own step sister and given the way they were so Feeling completely disgusted thinking about what she had witnessed earlier, Roseline decided to change her direction and head to the bancoly of the ship on the second floor. She knew Henry would soon reach the second floor seeing how he had asked her to stop earlier so it's better for her to divert his attention.Text © owned by NôvelDrama.Org.
Roseline gazed at the full moon, reflecting on the ocean water with a blank expression. Her marriage was supposed to be different from this betrayal by her husband. She loved him too much and was hurt by what he did to her. She remembered herself telling him a few minutes ago that today was one of the happiest days of her life. Unconsciously tears slipped down her eyes and dropped on the back of her hand.
"Roseline!" She snapped out of her daze when she heard Henry's voice from behind. How did he find her here?
"Y-you? Why have...... you come here?!" Roseline asked immediately as she turned around and saw Henry standing before her. Roseline gaze trailed off from a perfectly hairstyle that was messy due to the infidelity he had done and his clothes were slightly wrinkled. 'This stupid jerk!'
"I'm sorry Rose, it's -"
"Sorry? Are you going to use the famous excuse of ' it's not what you think'? Did you take me for a fool?!!" Rose cut off Henry and yelled furiously at him.
"Calm down and let me explain to you." Henry muttered as he ran his hand through his head in frustration. He was slightly taken back by Roseline yelling at him for the first time.
"There is absolutely nothing to explain, because I've got everything you guys did recorded here and I'm going to play this to the whole guest. Then you can explain yourself to everyone." Roseline instantly replied, her voice turned cold in a matter of seconds. She made up her mind, even though she'd get hurt by it, she doesn't mind as long as she reveals this video to the guests.
"Are you crazy, Rose! Even if you don't consider me, you're going to ruin Sophia's reputation if you reveal that video." Henry snapped and yelled furiously at Roseline. He was still surprised that she had video of both him and Sophia.
Roseline laughed at herself. He didn't even care about how hurt she was but was caring about her sister's reputation. What a crazy bastard!
"What did you think I was aiming for? You think I'm not hurting as well? Just watch and see how crazy I can be when everyone sees this. Now move out of my way." Roseline glared at him and was about to brush past him but stopped when he grabbed her hand. "I'm sorry-" He whispered gently. This time around he sounded really sorry with a hint of sadness in his voice.
"Pardon?" Roseline raised her head to look at Henry. "What do you mean by that? Even though you sound really sorry I won't fall for it so let go of my......argh!" Roseline was unable to finish her words when she suddenly felt a sharp pain in her stomach. She glanced down and saw a small dagger piercing through her stomach.
"Argh! Y-you...!!!" Roseline took a few footsteps backward in shock and pain. Her white dress was instantly soaked with bright red blood.
"Hen.....ry..... Henry, why.....have....you done this to.... me?" She managed to ask while clutching her chest. Her face completely turned pale and her pupils locked tightly as she stared at the man who had just stabbed her with a dagger.
Roseline could never imagine that she could be stabbed by the man she loved and trusted the most after all these years they've been together and today of all days that was their special day.
Henry didn't say a word as he pulled out a handkerchief from his pocket and elegantly wiped off the blood on his fingers.
"Allow me to answer that question, sister?" A sweet elegant voice traveled through the dark and reached Roseline.
Roseline, who was still clutching her stomach, raised her head when she heard the voice. She patiently waited for the person to show their face to confirm her suspicions.
"My dearest sister, the person that Henry loves has always been me," The same voice declared, and Roseline watched as a beautiful stunning woman with bright eyes, framed by long lashes, a straight nose, full lips, glowing and clear skin, with a most voluptuous body that had gained her endless suitors. She was none other than Sophia Gray who had pushed the balcony door open and strutted her way to the bancoly in her t-strap black heels.
Sophia approached in her red one-off-the-shoulder red dress that enhanced her beautiful pale skin, giving her a noble temperament. But there was a malicious smile that adorned her beautiful and dignified face.
Roseline furrowed her eyebrows tightly at the center of her forehead.
In a flash, she turned her attention back to look at Henry. "You.....tried teaming up with Sophia to kill me? Why?!" Rose asked.
"I've endured and tolerated you for a whole ten years, ten good years! Fortunately, everything will change and be over from today onward." Henry shouted angrily. The sadness that Rose heard in her voice was long gone and now replaced with disgust. Henry threw the blood-stained handkerchief and walked towards where Sophia was standing, familiarly embracing her waist.
Rose felt like she'd been struck by lightning, her body suddenly jerking as she stood at the two of them in shock.
Sophia tiptoed and planted an affectionate kiss on his lips. "Honey, you've worked so hard. However, you shouldn't have wasted your time and energy stabbing her because she is already dying naturally on her own." Triumph and sinisterness were written all over her face as she glanced at Rose.
"I just thought to make it quicker seeing that she was about to ruin our reputation with the video and the effect might take longer."
Dying? Yes, she was already dying due to being stabbed but what did she mean by that? Rose stared at her half-sister who appeared to be a stranger now, and then a terrifying truth dawned on her instantly when she connected the dots and meaning of Sophia's words. "You both........ you two have poisoned me?" Her eyes darted from Sophia to Henry, the man she loved all her life. There was no sort of guilt shown on his face at all.
