Chapter 19 Stay Alive
Chapter 19 Stay Alive
Aleena sighed, “Travis, it is I that brought trouble to you, sorry."
"What are you talking about?” Travis said, "You have to tell me that every day. I am tired of hearing it.
Besides, I've told you many times that this is a thing of my own free will."
Aleena got up and walked slowly toward him, “Travis, thank you, if it weren't for you, I might really......"
Travis smiled, reached out his hand and rubbed her hair. "It's all over. Let's go back to the house and I Belonging © NôvelDram/a.Org.
will cook something for you."
They smiled at each other and walked into the house.
As soon as he entered the house, Travis went into the kitchen with the food and fruit and began to
cook. Aleena followed him slowly holding her belly and wanted to help him.
"There is lampblack in the kitchen, let me do it.." Travis gently stopped her, "You just can’t stop, when
can you sit well and command me to do things?"
"You like being commanded?" Said Aleena. "I thought I could help..."
"I don't like being commanded, but I'll accept your command." Travis smiled.
Aleena only smiled and did not answer.
Travis began to cook.
Aleena stroked her belly, leaning on the door edge, looking at his agile and skilled movement with
guilty.
If it hadn't been for her, none of this would have happened and he wouldn't be the man he was now.
When she was ready to jump off the building, Travis rushed to intercept her.
In his arms there was a long strip in the shape of a man.
Shocked, she begged him to leave.
But he stubbornly shook his head and showed her the long strip in his arms.
A woman whose face could not been seen!
Aleena was scared and her voice got tight, “Travis! What are you doing?!"
"Don't worry, I didn't do anything bad. I will explain to you later. Do you want to go with me?" Travis
looked at her and asked nervously.
Aleena had her eyes drooped, “Where can we go? We have no way."
"No, with her, there is hope,” Travis said, “Don't you want to start a new life?"
“Of course I do!” Aleena looked at his legs, her tone changing from excited to sad. "But..."
"That's enough. Come and help me." Travis tore open the package that wrapped the woman and
carried her up to the rooftop with Aleena.
The woman stood firmly. Her fleshy body and face made Aleena want to vomit.
"Just throw her off here and we can be alive." Travis said.
"But she..." Aleena could not bear it. "She died so miserably. How could you throw her down from such
a high place? She'll be dead twice."
Travis looked at her and suddenly grinned.
The next second, he wrestled the woman down.
It was only seconds before the sound of the body fell.
Aleena was completely stunned and got pale on face.
Soon there was a great mess below, and even at a great distance they could hear people screaming
and all sorts of voices.
Aleena looked out slowly.
The woman on the ground was mutilated and broken beyond recognition.
Rosalie in the wheelchair slowly came out, looking at the woman on the ground.
From the angle of Aleena, she could see her white-toothed smile.
She could see it clearly at such a distance.
At this moment, Travis pulled her, took off his coat and wrapped her around. He pulled her to leave,
“Let's go, I have taken care of it."
The escape was particularly smooth.
Sitting in the car, Aleena kept thinking of that fleshy woman.
Her heart was stuffy.
Then she felt warm on her hand, it was Travis holding her.
Aleena tried to pull her hand away, but Travis held it tighter, “Are you angry?"
"Just not feel good." Sighed Aleena.
“I don't think she would blame you if she could save the life of a living one by using the dead one."
Travis said. "Do you think I'm cruel?"
She sighed, not knowing what to say.
Travis said, “Stay alive, don't waste her sacrifice."
Aleena drooped her eyes, “I will."
They left the country. And in the hospital, that woman was bloody and fleshy and her face could not
been seen clearly. The doctor could not save her and Rosalie thought that Aleena had died.
Rosalie pushed the wheelchair to the woman's side and lifted the white cloth covering her body.
Looking at that woman’s face which could not be identified, Rosalie burst out laughing.
