Caught Between The twin CEO

Chapter 59

From his brother to his girlfriend he growled.

Jaxton could not stop himself from doing what happened next.

“Jaxton I can explain, it’s not what you think” Sydney tried to explain but it was not heeded to by Jaxton as he pulled Sydney by her arm.

“Man it’s not what you think just let us explain” Paxton chimed in.

“You had better stayed quiet where you are because I would have to address you later” Jaxton said to his brother.

“Jaxton let me go you are hurting me” she cried as the firm hold he had on her hand was more than she could hold in.

“I don’t think you are taking this the right way please stop Jaxton” Sydney begged even more but Jaxton had clouded his memory with the vexation of what he thought he had seen.

Deep down he felt betrayed and was not in like what it was that had happened or what he had walked into.

Dragging her out of the office while she begged him to let her go was a sight Paxton didn’t like and he felt frustrated that he could not even have her for the time being while his brother calmed down.

Jaxton pulled her through to the elevator and pressed the button for the rooftop.

“What are we going to do at the rooftop? Jaxton please answer me! You should not be doing this at least listen to me” she screamed as the other employee’s rallied around to see what was happening.

He finally let her hand go when they had reached the rooftop.

“What were you doing with Paxton?” he asked her finally as if he was getting what she had said.

“What I was trying to explain to you ever since but you wouldn’t listen” she screamed.

“Would you talk?” he asked making her shake but she didn’t respond.

“I said you should talk” he insisted moving slowly close to her.

“I thought you said I should shut up, I can’t talk when you have told me to shut up” Sydney retorted.

“You are not even giving me the chance to tell you anything yet you want me to explain to you, what exactly would I be explaining to you when in essence you didn’t see anything” she said in anger as tears dropped from her eyes.

“Fuck” he cursed hard as he was wondering what he could do at the moment he wasn’t thinking straight.

His mind had been clouded with hate and he just wanted to squeeze the life out of his brothers.

She was already crying and because he was not listening to what she was saying to him and that only made her so frustrated.

“I am the only man who should be by your side in that manner, why would you let my brothers come that close to you?” Jaxton asked.

“But like I said nothing was happening between him and I and we were both just working on the contract” she explained.

“Well would you hear yourself? You were just working on the project with his faces inches apart from yours?” he asked not buying the words she was saying.

“I thought we agreed that your insecurities where getting overwhelming?” Sydney finally said what she had been trying hard to say since he started asking her those questions and accusing her.

“You mean to tell me that I am crazy and don’t know what it is I want or what I saw?” he asked making take a few steps backwards. The look in his eyes where just so scary and she felt like he was going to hit her.

Or maybe push her down the building as it always happened with lovers who quarreled.

And to think of all places he chose the rooftop where no one could hear her screams should in case he wanted to harm.

“There is nothing going on between Paxton and myself I don’t know why you don’t understand” She tried to make him see the picture but Jaxton had already had his mind made up she was flirting with his brother.

“Hell you both are flirting with each other so what do you mean when you say you both have nothing to do with each other? I know what I saw” he said having a hard grip on his hair.

“You saw what your mind had been hoping to see because ever since I started working with your brother there’s this need for me to explain a lot of things to you, why?” she asked clutching her dress in a bid to calm her beating heart.

“The position was compromising” he insisted on his point. All text © NôvelD(r)a'ma.Org.

“Your brother was asking me some questions and I was trying to answer what it was he was asking me and you just badged into the office,” she reasoned.

“Besides why would you keep coming back and forth into our offices? You have embarrassed me enough and I don’t want to keep with this”.

“What are you saying?” he asked.

“What I am saying is that you should treat me like a grown up that I am, I am not a child you should stop embarrassing me in front of other employees I think I’ve shade enough tears because of you” she said cleaning her eyes.

“But….” She stopped him with her hand midway his sentence.

“You should learn to be assertive with the way you reason stop accusing people wrongly of things you know nothing about, because this should never repeat itself again” she said and left the space.

“Wait Sydney, hold up don’t walk away from me we haven’t finished talking yet” Jaxton said going to hold her hand once again as he was not yet done saying what was on his mind.

“Then watch me walk away from you, I am not even in the mood to see your face again” she said as she pushed the elevator button and took the button for her office floor. __
