XANDER’S HOME, NEW YORK. “That food was so good.” Nina complimented as she rested her head on Xander’s chest. He hummed in response, enjoying the ambiance of the evening. The beauty his house garden provides makes it pleasant to relax at any time of the day. “I knew you would like it. I had to call the chef in special. How are you feeling?” “Relaxed and happy. I can’t remember the last time I felt this way. And I have to admit, do not crucify me, though. It feels good not to be pregnant.” Xander let out a light laugh at her admittance. “It’s alright. I hear it can be burdening.” “It was. At the same time, I am so glad it was all worth it. I have the most beautiful baby I will love until my last breath. And I have you to thank for that, Xander.” She said, looking up at him. “You planted the desire to love her even before her arrival. My heart has found many reasons to love again despite my woes.” He placed a kiss on her forehead. “I am glad to know you are happy.” They stayed quiet, enjoying each other’s company. Since Xander moved out of Nina’s house, they have been going on dates, just talking and getting to know their new selves. Nina suggested they have a private dinner at Xander’s since she couldn’t spend time with him without other people being present. Her eyes roamed his sharp jawline, and it made her heart race. Nina had intentionally wanted this moment. When the thought crossed her mind, she felt dirty-minded. However, it kept tormenting her, and she had to admit to herself that she needed it. Sharing her thoughts with Tania only made it more valid. It’s been six weeks since the birth of Winter. And the more time she spends with Xander, the more she craves him beyond the lingering touches and hugs. Her body and vagina burn with desire, and not just any man will quench it. Only Xander can. She didn’t think her love for him from the past would blossom again. Now, Nina wants to tell him about her day and how fussy Winter has been. She desires to rest in his arms after long hours of making love and sleep without worries. Her thinking had her heart racing again with sweaty palms. Feeling like there would be no better time, she repositioned herself to face him, and she trailed her bare feet on his exposed legs while caressing his chest in slow motion. Xander glanced down to meet her needy eyes piercing into his. Nina didn’t allow him to mumble his opinion before strapping and kissing him passionately. He moaned into her mouth and wrapped his large arm around her waist, switching their positions and pinning her to the mat they lay on. Nina roamed her hands hungrily over his entire body. Her wetness soaked her pants almost immediately, and she probably would scare the birds away at the scream waiting on the tip of her tongue as she anticipated his thrust. Xander wanted to pull back, but he couldn’t. He wanted her just the same. And it feels like a miracle to see Nina yearn hungrily for him. Xander pulled up her mini dress, and his eyes widened at her lines and view of her pants. His finger found their way into her pant, and they slid into her pussy so quickly that he let out a satisfied groan. “You are so wet, my love.” He moaned into her mouth, kissing her with all his strength. He removed her pant for easy access and slid a finger into her core and another into her clit. The one finger couldn’t keep up, prompting him to put in the second one. Nina moaned so loudly that he was glad for the first time that he could afford a space where his woman wouldn’t have to hold back in expressing herself. Nina ground against his fingers and bite down hard on her lips when he sucked on her nipples. Passion and desire mounted every part of her. She craved to be fucked hard until her limbs refused to move. “P-please, Xander. I want it now. I want you! Please make love to me, please, baby.” She begged amidst horny pants. Just then, Xander stopped moving his fingers. He swallowed hard, realizing that he had gone too far. Her eyes snapped open when he stopped his movement. “What’s wrong?” Nina asked, lust swirling in her eyes. Xander avoided her eyes and sat up, “I just remembered that I have something urgent to attend to. I am so sorry, baby.” Nina sat up, still trying to understand what had just happened. “Winter must be missing you, too. Let’s do this some other time, hmm.” He leaned forward to kiss her, but she turned her face away. Nina’s face flushed in embarrassment, all that moaning and craving for nothing. She stood up, grabbed her panties, and pulled her panties back in place. “Take me home.” She requested and walked briskly into the house to get her bag. All through the ride, Nina didn’t say a word. Even when Xander tried to make light jokes, he knew getting her to talk to him now would be hard. Parking in front of the house, he looked to her side as she attempted to remove the seat belt. “You must be present at the M&M Foods final company exchange on Monday.” He said. “I do know that.” She seethed, slamming the door shut when she got down. Sighing in exhaustion, Xander drove around for a while as he didn’t want to go home. He thought of a place to go but had nowhere in mind. Jace won’t speak to him, and Xander has no other close friend. Making up his mind, he drove to their usual hangout bar. “It’s been a while, sir.” The bartender grinned at him. “What would you like to have?” “Vod-” He was about to spill but changed his mind. “Just give me soda and ice, please,” Xander mumbled. “Right away, sir.” His order arrived, and he sipped it quietly, trying not to indulge his roaming thoughts. Nina must be cursing him out right now. If only she knew he acted that way for her good. “Hmmn, soda? Not bad.” Jace mumbled behind him. Xander raised a brow. “What are you doing here?” “Same as you. I came to drown my sorrows away. Nice to see you finally making friends with your soda.” Jace said as he settled on the stool and motioned to the bartender. “Four tequila shots.” He requested. “Wow, are you sure you want to do that?” “Does it concern you?” “Oh, my bad. I have forgotten you aren’t talking to me.” Xander said and turned his face away. Guilt tugged at Jace’s chest. “I am sorry; I didn’t mean to sound like that.” “You don’t have to be sorry; it’s not as if I am worthy of your attention.” Jace huffed and stared down at his glass. “I fought with Tania, and she insists we won’t be together unless I spill what is already obvious to her.” Xander took a long sip of his drink. “How is that?” “Minny came by the house, said she just wanted to talk, and has been trying my phone for a long while.” Knowing he has much to deal with, he doesn’t intend to tell Xander the truth. “So, she thinks something is happening between you and Minny.” “Yeah, that is what it seems. I don’t want to think about it. It sounds absurd; I don’t know what else I am supposed to say to convince Tania. Enough about me; why are you here alone drinking soda?” Xander’s face tightened like the words he was about to spit would kill him. “I don’t think you are old enough to know such details.” “Now? Didn’t I tell you mine? How bad can it be?” Jace joked. “It is awful, Jace.” He said this time with a crestfallen gaze. He didn’t need to say it outrightly before his brother caught on. “God damn it!” He cursed. “How? Why did you let it get to that?” Xander scratched his cheek. “Let’s just say I got carried away. It’s what I have wanted for a long time. She embraced me herself, craved for me. I wanted her so much that I forgot that I had a problem! It was too late before I could pull away. I bet she hates me now, and I hate myself more, Jace. I feel so weak. Until when do I have to deal with this? When?” Jace placed a comforting hand on his shoulder. “You just have to keep up with the guidelines provided by Uncle Jason.” “That would take a year or two, probably years. I would lose Nina by then.” “Then you should probably tell her the truth.” “No! Hell no! That is never going to happen. What woman would want to stick around when she hears such? I have to find an easier way to sort this out. I have to.” “And what do you plan to do? I hope it’s not what I am thinking.”

“What if I try that? It might work even if it is for a short while?”

“Until when do you need to keep doing that if you go down that lane? Those drugs won’t guarantee you happiness. You had better not do something you will regret. It is bad enough as it is for the sake of your happiness, man. I think I have had enough for the night. Take care of yourself .” Jace said as he chugged down the last glass of shot and excused himself. Xander sighed tiredly; the soda seemed tasteless in his mouth, causing him to stare hard and long at the alcohol bottles. Shutting his eyes tightly, he shook his head. Burying himself underwater would be the best option.
