Chapter 77
After he said that, he couldn’t help but kiss her. Although this time it wasn’t as rough as before, but rath
er gently asking her to respond, while caring for her feelings.
He repeatedly licked her lips, like a gentleman inviting a lady to dance at a party.
Estelle was initially serene, but couldn’t resist his gentle invitation, her body softening, involuntarily begi
nning to respond.
As soon as she responded, he immediately tangled up, not dancing a graceful waltz, but an intimate, p assionate jazz.
As the sky grew darker, the entire room was enveloped in a deep twilight Sensing that Estelle was turn
ed on, Jonathan scooped her up in his arms and walked toward the side of the bed.
Placing Estelle on the bed, Jonathan surprisingly took his time.
He spent the time it would take for a full course meal, treating Estelle to a variety of appetizers. Estelle
had a sweet tooth, but it was the first time she realized that even the sweetest dessert couldn’t fill her st
omach, but only made her hungner.
Jonathan didn’t hide his intentions, just waiting for her to–beg him.
As soon as Estelle said the word, he immediately surrendered and couldn’t wait either.
When the young girl held her breath, Jonathan pressed down on her and said in a hoarse voice, “Little
girl, don’t cheat me, I’ll give you anything you want.”
Estelle’s eyes misted over, and soon ripples spread out.
When Estelle woke up, the room was pitch black, and she was the only one on the bed. She checked t
he time and it was 12:30 at night.
She had only slept for two hours.
Thirsty, Estelle put on her clothes and got out of bed to get water in the kitchen.
Entering the living room, Estelle paused and turned her head to look at the balcony
A tall figure stood in front of the railing, with twinkling cigarette around his fingertips, like a shooting star
sliding down from the sky.
The sky was gloomy, the lights in the living room were off, and the outside was pitch black. The man st
ood tall, exuding a sense of loneliness. Estelle walked over and stood beside him, asking, “Why aren’t
you asleep?”
Her voice was a little hoarse, making the man’s eyes darken, but his voice remained calm, “I can’t slee
p.”
Estelle raised her eyebrows in surprise, “Do you have insomnia?”
He took a drag of his cigarette and said calmly, “something like that, it’s a problem I’ve had since my da
ys in the army, it’s been many years.” Estelle frowned, “Have you seen a doctor?”
“I have, but it didn’t help.”
Estelle looked at the flickering cigarette in his hand. “Then you shouldn’t smoke either, it’s worse for yo
ur sleep”
She rarely saw him smoke, probably only when he couldn’t sleep.
The man looked at her and smiled, his face clearly handsome in the
darkness, “If I can’t even smoke, there’ll be no one to keep me company at night.”
A wave of emotion surged in Estelle’s heart, making her somewhat sad.
She hesitated for a moment, watching his handsome smoking posture, and asked, “Can I have a drag?
”
Jonathan looked at her puzzledly.
Estelle smiled lightly. “Tve always wondered what it tastes like.”
Jonathan chuckled, changing hands to hold the cigarette and putting it to her lips.
Estelle imitated his posture, taking a drag. The smoke choked her throat, and she immediately turned h
er head to cough.
Jonathan took back the cigarette and laughed softly,
“Now that you know what it tastes like, you won’t try it again in the future.”
Estelles eyes reddened from coughing, and she nodded tearfully.
Jonathan stared at the teardrop at the corner of her eye, wiping it off with his hand, “Good girl”
Estelle looked into the man’s unfathomable eyes full of affection, and couldn’t help but feel moved, pret
ending to cough and tuning away.
She knew it was an illusion, so she had to stay calm
Jonathan put out the cigarette and asked, “Has your grandfather recovered?”
Estelle leaned lazily on the railing, looking at the night sky of J City. It was just a cold, he’s fine now”
Jonathan smiled, “So it was a trick meant for kids” Content is property of NôvelDrama.Org.
Estelle disagreed and furrowed her eyebrows, “It’s not a trick, it’s a white lie”
