Chapter 18
Chapter 18
'She said I have ulterior motives?'
'Huh.'
Liam sneered and looked at Abigail. "Ulterior motives? Miss Swift, what do you mean? What do you
think I want from you?"
"I have no idea," Abigail said.
A proud man like Liam couldn't stand this kind of provocation.
"Miss Swift, I value your ability and attitude. As for the ulterior motives you just mentioned ... I'm afraid
you're thinking too much."
"That would be great." Abigail's lips curled into a smile. "Mr. Jones, don't worry. In two days, I will pay
the penalty to the company's account!"
"Well, if there's nothing else, I'll go first." After that, Abigail did not say anything more to Liam. She
turned around, straightened her back, and left.
Looking at Abigail's back, Liam narrowed his eyes.
He did have other purposes, so what?
He did not believe that she would not compromise!
Walking out of Liam's office, Abigail suddenly let out a breath.
The conversation with Liam just now was like a battle, and now she was so exhausted and lost all her
strength.
It was really tough to deal with Liam.
Two million dollars...
The thought of this number gave her a headache.
How could she borrow one million dollars in two days?
Liam was deliberately making things difficult for her.
Although she thought so, she still resolutely decided to leave the Powerline Group. If she really had to
get along with him, it was inevitable that she would go crazy.
With that in mind, she left the Powerline Group.
The next day.
In the morning, Abigail was still asleep when she was woken up by the phone.
Abigail reached out from the quilt, caught her cell phone, and answered the call. "Hello..."
However, after hearing what was said on the line, Abigail sat up. "What? The police station? Okay, I'll
be right there!"
Abigail quickly got up from the bed, changed her clothes, and went out. It was Tina's call.
It took them more than an hour to get out of the police station.
"Damn, so unlucky. It's just an ordinary rear-end crash. He actually accused me of intentionally hurting
him?" As soon as she came out of the police station, Tina shouted with dissatisfaction.
"How did this happen?" Abigail asked.
"Who knows! I'm so angry. Obviously, he took revenge on me on purpose!" Tina shouted angrily. After
saying this, she turned to look at Abigail. "Abi, I am very supportive of your decision. The further we
stay away from people like Liam, the better!"
How did this have anything to do with Liam again?
"What does this have to do with him?" Abigail asked.
"He's the owner of the car," Tina said solemnly.
Abigail, "It's Liam?"
"Yeah, I think he's taking revenge on me on purpose," Tina said angrily.
Thinking of this, Abigail frowned.
"Let's talk about it when we go back. By the way, don't tell my family about this. I don't want them to
worry about me." Tina said.
"Got it," Abigail answered, but she was a little absent-minded and in her thoughts.
Sure enough, Liam stuck with Tina's rear-end crash lawsuit and wouldn't let it go. Text © owned by NôvelDrama.Org.
It seemed that he had sworn to keep suing Tina until the end.
Finally, Abigail couldn't hold back and dialed Liam's office number.
