Chapter 559 See No Evil
Chapter 559 See No Evil
Carla turned her eyes away from the night view of the city. Unintentionally, her eyes landed on the
balcony right next to their room.
What she saw in there absolutely stunned her.
"Carla, the view in here looks breathtaking. Do you want to—"
"Hush!"
Carla interrupted Terence mid-sentence. In fact, she was actually watching the "live sex show" on the
other balcony. She couldn't help but be completely astounded about the fact that some people were
that brave. They didn't even close their curtains.
When Terence didn't hear more from Carla except telling him to be quiet, he followed the direction of
her gaze.
However, before he could see what was going on, Carla covered his eyes and exclaimed, "See no evil!
Hear no evil! Speak no evil!"
What Terence couldn't see was a topless woman bending over on the other balcony. Her hands gripped
the railing really tightly as a man was grabbing her waist with both of his hands. He was thrusting into
her repeatedly. However, Carla couldn't clearly see the man's face.
Carla was not going to let Terence see that bashful scene.
At that moment, Terence's lips turned into a smile, and he giggled softly. However, he didn't take her
hand off and just asked, "Is that so? Why are you looking then?"
"That's different! I am a woman!"
In Carla's perspective, it was acceptable for her to see a naked woman since she was a woman
herself. However, she didn't want her husband to see another woman's naked body except hers.
While Carla was speaking, she took another look at the two porn stars. Accidentally, she finally saw the
side view of the man's face. The familiar face surprised her even more.
Terence took her hand down and responded, "Okay, I'm not going to look. Let's not disturb them. Let's
just close our curtains and stay inside, okay?"
He already knew what was going on, and he honestly could not care any less than he already did.
However, she didn't respond nor move. Her eyes were still fixated on the balcony next door with her
mouth a little opened.
"Honey, do you have to stare at them like that? Come on! Let's just go inside. We have a big mirror
inside. I can let you see as much as you want," Terence nonchalantly said with a hint of flirting. When
he tried to pull her inside, he accidentally looked outside as well. Then, he frowned and pulled her in.
"Terence, isn't that..."
Carla wanted to say something but she hesitated. She wasn't sure if she saw it clearly.
That man looked really familiar to her.
"Yes, that's Rhys, my older brother,"
Terence said it out for her.
After she got ready for bed, Carla laid on the bed and doubtfully asked, "I thought Rhys was afraid of
Eunice. After all, they have just been married for a few years. How dare he cheat on her?"
Rhys seemed like the man who would be obedient and compliant to Eunice's wishes. Carla could not
comprehend how he could do that to his wife.
"That's to expect, actually. Rhys loves to fool around with different women. Since Eunice's pregnancy,
he has been sleeping with a lot of women. In the past, he had hidden it pretty well. This might be the
first time that I chanced into him,"
Terence casually said as he pulled her a little closer to his side.
In fact, Rhys having affair was not news anymore.
"Has he been cheating on her for the past few years? Does Eunice know anything about it?"
Carla curiously asked. She figured that Rhys might be able to hide it for a little time. However, after four
or five years into the marriage, Eunice should have known something about it.
"I think she does, but she can't really do anything to stop him." Terence looked at Carla's reactions. She
still seemed stunned and looked like she couldn't believe what she just found out. So, Terence
caressed her arms and stated, "Alright, honey! That's enough about Rhys' business."
In all honesty, Terence wasn't interested in Rhys' love affairs. He held Carla in his arms and kissed her
cheek. "We should care more about us. It's already midnight. This is a rare chance for us to be alone in
a hotel, and it would be a pity if we don't do anything."
This was their first night out since she came back. Terence wanted to give her a romantic night.
"Terence, why do all of the men in your family love to screw with different women?"
Carla asked. She could only assume that Edmund had a few mistresses too.
His wife had passed away many years ago and he hadn't remarried. He had to have a few women
taking care of his needs.
"Carla, not all of the men in my family are like Rhys. Only my older brother and father are like that. My
grandpa has been married for so many years with my grandma. They love each other with all of their
hearts. So, please don't say that! You can't generalize all of us, my dear,"
Terence said. He was raised by his grandpa to be a responsible man.
So when he got married to Carla, he knew he needed to be loyal to her.
"Carla, it's late. Let's go to bed," he whispered, breathing out hot air into her ears.
However, Carla only pushed his face away. "Come on! You do it every day in the morning and even at
night! Please give me a break and let me have a good night's sleep for now!"
"Carla, it only means that I work really hard to please you. Don't you think you should give me a
reward?"
Terence enchantingly smiled. Then he turned the light off and pulled her cover off.
——
The next morning, Carla was in a rush to go back to the Seaview Villa after they checked out of the
hotel.
Since Sally was born, Carla had never let the little girl spend a night at home by herself. Even though it
was just one night away from her daughter, she was still worried about her.
"Sally, Mommy is home!" Carla shouted when she walked in the mansion.
However, she didn't hear any response so she called out to her once again.
"Sally?"
"Mrs. Carla, Miss Sally threw a temper and locked herself in her room,"
Sophie said as she walked over to Carla. She then continued, "She was fine last night. But when she
woke up this morning and she couldn't find you, she started to lock herself in her room. She wouldn't let
anyone in."
"Okay, don't worry. I will go check on her," Carla said and immediately ran upstairs.
On the second floor, Sally was sitting in her room with so much contempt in her heart. When she heard
Carla's voice, she squeezed a few tears out and started to sob.
"Sally? My little princess? Ah, are you crying?"
Carla saw the crying little girl sitting on the bed. She walked over and held her in her arms. "Honey, let
Mommy look at you! Hum, my baby girl. Mommy is back now. You don't have to worry about anything."
Carla tried to console her daughter but Sally just continued to silently tear up. Carla continued, "Don't
you want to talk to Mommy? Hm... How about you taking a walk with Mommy later?"
Sally pouted her lips and didn't respond to that as well.
"Sally, you're a big girl now. You're about to go to school soon! Mommy can't go to school with you. You
have to learn to sleep on your own."
Looking at her pouted lips, Carla placed her face closer to Sally's little face and rubbed it. She was
trying so hard to comfort her.
At that moment, the door opened again
and Terence walked in.
The second Sally saw her father, she started tearing up even harder. Finally, she cried out loud. Her
little body started to shiver as she continued to sob. She looked like she couldn't be any sadder.
Terence couldn't help but feel sad as well when he saw the tears on Sally's cheeks. He took Sally from
Carla's arms and said, "Sally, tell Daddy why you're crying."
Sally opened up her eyes with so much tears and looked at him and Carla.
"Daddy and Mommy were not home. I wanted Mommy, but I can't find her anywhere..."
Sally hadn't been separated with Carla for a whole day since she was born. When she couldn't find
Carla, her little heart fell into pieces.
"Sally, can you please stop crying? Do you know how much Daddy is jealous of you? Your mommy had
been with you every day for the past three years. But look at Daddy. Daddy hadn't spent a day, even a
minute with your mommy alone." Terence tried to comfort the little girl.
"Now, Sally is a big girl already, right? You came back to Daddy. Don't you think it's only fair to share
Mommy with Daddy?"
Terence tried to reason with Sally. She was three years old, and Terence thought that she would be old © 2024 Nôv/el/Dram/a.Org.
enough to understand.
Sally looked up. Her big eyes filled with tears were fixed on Terence's face. She sobbed, "But, Daddy is
a grown-up man!"
Her words actually made sense. For Sally, grown-ups like her Daddy didn't need a woman to watch him
go to sleep.
However, babies like her needed their mommies.
"Daddy, you're a big man! I slept by myself last night and the night before yesterday. Shame on you for
asking Mommy to watch you go to sleep!"
Sally said as she pouted her lips. She was extremely sad and disappointed, leaving her parents
helpless on what to do to appease her.
