Slowly, Alexa turned to look at her ‘New Boss’.
“Are you scared?”
Anderson squinted his left eye and asked.
“No. No, I’m not.”
Alexa lied.
“You’re lying.”
Anderson pointed out bluntly.
“I’m not like you!”
Alexa said.
“What do you mean by that?”
Anderson asked.
“You said I was to come here and work, but you’re scaring the shit out of me!”
Alexa blurted out.
“You. will. work.”
Anderson said.
“Well, I don’t want to anymore.”
Alexa said blankly.
“You will.”
Anderson smiled.
“Follow me.”
Anderson commanded, Stepped away from her, turned his back, and started walking away.
A few meters away from the staircase, Anderson turned his back and saw Alexa still rooted in the same spot he had left her in.
“Ain’t you supposed to follow me?”
Anderson squinted his eyes.
“I’m not going with you, idiot!”
Alexa firmly said.
“Your wrist hurts right?”
“And what’s your business with that?”
Alexa fired back.
“Should I drag you by that same hand?”
Anderson asked with his hand on his chin.
“I think I should. It’ll teach you a lesson.”
Anderson added and walked back to Alexa.
Gripping the same spot on her left wrist tightly, Anderson turned to walk away dragging Alexa along the same way he had done earlier on.
One thing he didn’t know was that Alexa’s already had enough of him bossing her around.
She placed her right palm on the hand holding her left wrist and started pinching it.
“Ow! Stop that.”
Anderson frowned.
Seizing this as an opportunity, as painful as it was… She yanked her wrist away from Anderson’s grip.
“You bit…”
Anderson said but stopped himself from completing his statement.
“Go on. Complete it, you bastard.”
Alexa yelled and her tears burned behind her eyelids.
She was frustratingly angry.
She’d been bottling it up for a while now, but she wasn’t gonna take it anymore.
Lifting her right hand and fisting her palm, Alexa started hitting Anderson on his chest.
“Stop it.”
Anderson muttered.
What she was doing was hurting him, but what he didn’t realize was that he’d been the one hurting her these past minutes.
“I didn’t fvcking ask for you to employ me. I don’t even want to work for you anymore. Keep your fvcking money to yourself, I don’t want it again!”
Alexa yelled as she continued hitting him and the tears she’d been trying so hard to conceal from him rushed down in torrents.
“Enough! I’ve had enough of your whims.”
Anderson spoke harshly and caught hold of her hand the moment she wanted to hit him again.
Alexa huffed angrily.Text content © NôvelDrama.Org.
“Whims? Did you just say whims?”
Alexa asked not able to believe what he just said.
Anderson didn’t bother to reply.
He bent down a little, picked her up, and slung her over his shoulder.
“Hey! Put me down!”
Alexa yelled at the top of her voice.
Anderson didn’t budge.
Instead, he balanced her well on his shoulder and started moving towards the staircase.
“Anderson!”
Alexa screamed again and started kicking her legs every which way in a bid to get Anderson to stop and put her down.
When that proved abortive, Alexa started punching his shoulder with her ‘not hurting hand’ and continued kicking her legs every which way.
“This is gonna be damn hard!”
Anderson groaned as he continued up the stairs.
Soon, they were in front of the same room they were in before, and with one push in by Anderson, the door creaked open.
Locking the door behind him, Anderson walked to his bed and dropped Alexa down on it.
After putting her down, Anderson plopped down in front of her and started crawling toward her on the bed with a smirk on his face.
Alexa’s heart started beating so fast, she was sure Anderson heard it beating too.
She started shifting backward to avoid Anderson from reaching her.
This was the moment. She knew it. She was on his bed, him crawling towards her slowly with what looked like an evil smirk… He was surely gonna r*pe her.
“Hey, what are you doing?”
Alexa asked her heart literally in her mouth as she continued to shift back.
Soon, her back hit the head of the bed and with Anderson sitting in front of her with his smirk gone, she knew her game was up.
