Mission: From Divorcee to Millionaire

Chapter 295

Selena nearly burst into laughter. Everett's neat freak tendencies didn't stop him from jumping from one bed to another, both at home and elsewhere. If he'd just admitted it, she might have respected him a bit more, but instead, he was playing the role of Mr. Innocent. Everett couldn't care less about what was running through Selena's mind. He knew it was nothing good. While he stirred her desires, he locked eyes with her, tempting her with his gaze.

"Don't you feel like it? Isn't it said that pregnant women crave it more?" he teased.

Selena had no clue where he got that idea from. Ever since she got pregnant, her mind had been solely focused on the baby, leaving no room for anything else. Especially not with him, which made her even less interested!

"I don't want to!" Selena said, honesty clear in her voice.

Normally, his touches and kisses would evoke a response from her, but now, she felt nothing. Maybe her emotional resistance had numbed her physical reactions too.

Everett, however, wasn't happy. He could handle a lot, but he couldn't accept that the body he had so finely tuned to his own was now indifferent to him.

"I don't buy it," he said, his dark eyes boring into hers, voice almost a growl. Then he went silent...

Even though he didn't pin her down, he held her firmly, making it impossible for Selena to break free. With the baby in mind, she couldn't struggle too much either.

She wasn't an emotionless block of wood, after all. Everett, using every trick in the book, slowly ignited a fire in her body, quickened her breath, and blurred her vision.

Her hands clenched the sheets beneath her, a light sweat broke out, and her fair skin turned a rosy shade. Her recent weight gain only enhanced her allure.

Everett cupped her chin and kissed her deeply, not letting her escape. When she was ready, he swiftly switched their positions.

Now he was beneath, and she was above.

With just one look, he could admire the beauty before him. This was all his, Everett's alone.

His voice was husky and soft, "Mrs. Bennett, I'm worried about hurting the baby, so you take charge, control the pace~"

The last words hung in the air, dripping with innuendo.

Selena was both mortified and annoyed. Everett's shamelessness always managed to push her boundaries, and she had no intention of giving in.

She tried to roll off him, but Everett

wouldn't let her. Acting clueless, he said, "Forgot how it's done because it's been too long? No sweatd can start and show you." From NôvelDrama.Org.

Selena's eyes widened in disbelief, frozen for a moment. Then she snapped back, her lips trembling as she spat, "Everett, you jerk! Is this your only way of messing with people..." en

Her long-pent-up emotions finally erupted.

Everett wasn't mad; instead, he felt a

rare sense of relief, not just physically, but emotionally too. Selena's anger and curses were far better than her silence, treating him like he didn't exist these past days.

A smile played at the corners of his mouth. He sat up, wrapped his arms around her, and kissed her brow, eyes, and cheeks.

"Go on, let it all out. Once you're done, we can finally be okay."
