Mr Grant, Please Be Gentle

Chapter 75 He’s Not Mad, Is He?

Blanca wanted to hurl just looking at Jim as he waved at her.

This man really was good for nothing but looks!

Flirting with his own sister-in-law so casually?!

“Fine, what kind of fun are we talking here?” Blanca was no coward, though, and strode over, feigning ignorance as she looked at Jim.

Seeing that Blanca had agreed, Jim felt a surge of excitement.

Matthew frowned surreptitiously. That small detail didn’t escape Blanca. She stole close to him and whispered at a volume only either of them could hear, “I only jumped out because I believed you, Matthew. You’re not going to lose, are you?”

“…”

Matthew didn’t speak.

Blanca hadn’t wanted to give Matthew any chance to react anyway. Someone like Matthew would never allow himself to lose face. Which meant that no matter what he did, he was going to win.

“All right, Jim, how do you want to compete?” Blanca smiled and continued.

Louise had arrived as well. Blanca had refused so bluntly back there, and now she was blazing ahead. She had to curse internally.

Little bitch.

Can’t budge with men, eh!

“Our old games are stale now. Matthew and I will blindfold ourselves. You and Louise point the way for us, and we’ll see who gets to the finish line first. As for the prize… how about you give me a kiss?!”

Jim said, a lascivious light in his eyes.

Blanca’s grin froze on her face and she almost puked right before him.Content is property of NôvelDrama.Org.

She didn’t say anything. Even if she wasn’t really Matthew’s woman, she was still his wife in name!

Now that Jim dared to flirt with her like this, Blanca was sure that Matthew wouldn’t show mercy.

“You’re not afraid you’re going to lose, are you, Matthew?” Jim’s gaze fell on Matthew. He’d already finished one cigarette, and he threw the butt behind him as he waved at Louise. Louise, though, shook her head rapidly, her legs turning to jelly. “You can have your own fun. Why bring me? I can’t, I – I g-get carsick!”

Louise trailed off into incoherent stammering.

Blanca snickered. “Not scared, are you, Louise? No faith in Jim’s driving?”

The clear doubt and mockery in her tone colored Jim’s face. Seeing Louise back up repeatedly, ready to run, Jim just up and snatched her! Then he stuffed her in the car. Through the glass, Blanca could hear Louise hammering on the door.

She was clearly terrified.

Blanca couldn’t help but burst out laughing. Louise had seen her brothers fight and had gone to her instead of trying to smooth things over with them. Blanca wasn’t about to bet on what she was planning.

“Laughed your fill?”

A sudden cold wind came from overhead, and Blanca sobered. She set her smile away. “What, I made the decision. You don’t have an opinion on that, do you?”

“You’re very smug, Blanca.”

Matthew said all of a sudden. Blanca was a bit at a loss, then reacted. Taking on Jim’s challenge while understanding nothing did seem somewhat inappropriate…

Matthew wasn’t mad, was he?
