Chapter 13
Three years later, a plane from Usna cut through the skies of Osmo and landed at Osmo International
Airport
“Are
you don’t need me to go with you?” A man asked the fully–armed woman beside him.

The woman yawned. “Do you think I’m the same person from three years ago who would let them bully
me?”
He was silent for a moment. “Okay. I’ll go back and handle some company matters first, including your appointment as vice president.”
“Sure,” she said. “Don’t worry. When I need you, you won’t be idle.”
“You’re the best, Lexi’s Mom.”
“Alright. You’re Lexi’s Dad, not mine, so stop worrying.”
At the airport entrance, they got into two cars heading in different directions.
In the car, Linda took off her mask and sunglasses, looking at the familiar scenery outside the window. Her gaze was filled with amusement.
She was back in her hometown after being away for three years. She would settle with them every incident that happened three years ago!
Sitting in the passenger seat was Werdy Lane–Samson’s secretary at his company in Novena, who was
now her secretary.
Linda was YK Media’s vice president.
“Ms. Felix, are you going to Felix Group’s party tonight?” asked Wendy.
“Why wouldn’t I?” Linda fiddled with her phone. Chloe had texted her, saying that she would arrive the
-morning after the next.
“Then I’ll prepare a gown
a gown for yo
you.
“Alright. Also, keep an eye on the media. Just do as I said.” She glanced at her freshly manicured nails
Wendy nodded. She wasn’t sure why, but she felt that Linda had changed from the moment she landed in
Osmo.
“Has Lina contacted you?”
“Ms. Smith said shell arrive in Osmo tomorrow night and will speak with you personally.”
Linda hummed in acknowledgment as her phone buzzed with that day’s news alert.
“Wilson Group president William Wilson to soon be engaged to his childhood savior, renowned designer.
Ida Clinton.”
She smiled lightly, not taking it seriously at all.
“Ms. Felix, are you okay?” Wendy also noticed the news. She had become quite close to Linda’s assistant in Usna and knew a little about Linda’s past with William.
“Wendy, I’m no longer the Linda from before.”
That was to say, the current Linda was a person without emotions. She no longer cared about anything to
do with William.
“Okay. I wish you a prosperous business, Ms. Felix.”
Hearing this blessing, Linda found Wendy adorable. “Same to you.”

At 7:30 pm, Linda dressed up Felix Group’s party.
The party was actually an excuse for Tom to find a suitable match for his youngest daughter–one that could benefit the Felix family and was easy to control.
Linda found his idea laughable and unrealistic. Exclusive content from NôvelDrama.Org.
In Osmo, there were only two types of wealthy young men–those with real power who were difficult to control, and those with no power who were easy to control.
Clearly, none would meet Tom’s requirements.
Before Linda got out of the car, she received a call from Samson.
