My Toyboy 321
Filip didn’t even know why he was so down. He just felt very sad Sadder than he’d ever felt before.
He had hated Lilian. However, only when Lilian truly passed away did he realize they were kindred spirits. A sense of lonely melancholy overcame him as if he were the only one in the world.
Cynthia stormed off, but soon after she left, Filip came out of the room. He had already freshened up and changed into clean, crisp clothes, He then headed straight to the nursery.
Pamela was surprised and relieved to see Filip. She thought, ‘Only Cynthia seems to be able to persuade him.
The baby was just waking up, and Pamela was holding him. Filip walked over and said, “Let me hold him.”
Pamela hadn’t heard Filip utter a word for days. Even though Filip was her son, she was extremely worried. Seeing Filip return to his normal self–made her grateful to Cynthia. At the same time, however, it also filled her with regret.
Pamela placed the baby in Filip’s arms. It was Filip’s first time holding the child. As he touched the baby’s soft little body, he almost held his breath.
Since the day the baby was born, this was his first time holding him. At that moment, Filip’s emotions were extremely complex.
At first, he was terrified. He always thought of this child as a product of Satan, a demon, a flower that blossomed from the soil of hell a sin born out of his and Lilian’s selfishness.
If Lilian were alive, he could have pushed this sin onto her. But Lilian was gone, and he had to bear all the consequences
alone.
He gazed at the child in his arms. The baby was soft and cute, blinking her big, bright eyes like stars twinkling in the night sky.
At that moment, Filip was convinced. This child wasn’t the product of Satan but an angel. Looking into those eyes that resembled hers so much, Filip’s eyes welled up..
Filip held the child as if he were holding the most precious treasure in the world, even though he knew deep down that the baby was stolen.
Pamela noticed Filip’s eyes were red, and she knew at once that he liked the child too. Pamela said, “The baby doesn’t have a registered name yet. You should give him a name right away.”
Filip looked up and said, “Let him take Lilian’s last name, Sheppard, and call him Benjamin.”
When Cynthia came out, she received a call from Selena. Cynthia kept a straight face. She knew this call would come eventually, but she didn’t expect it to take three days.
Cynthia answered the call, “What’s the matter?”
“Cynthia, Shirley is really in bad shape. Come back and fix her bone. She’s been waiting for three days and nights and has learned her lesson by now.”
Last time, Cynthia used a special method to dislocate Shirley’s bones. Shirley had been lying in bed for three days and nights, unable to move, eat, or drink, feeling like she’d been run over by a steamroller. All she could do was let out dry cries from her bed.
Her voice was now hoarse from all the yelling, and she was alme completely out of energy. She had been taken to several hospitals, but even the orthopedic specialists were hesitant to act quickly.
They said it was done through a unique traditional technique for bone setting. Shirley’s whole skeleton was dislocated, and she needed a very skilled professional to realign her bones. Any thistake could easily lead to permanent disability.
Selena hadn’t expected Cynthia to know about such things, nor did she know when Cynthia had learned thern. But seeing Shirley in such agony, she couldn’t stand it either.
Cynthia didn’t waste any words. T’m coming right away.
Ten minutes later, Cynthia’s car once again came to a halt in the courtyard of the Jones family’s villa. When she entered, Justin sat on the sofa, watching stock news.
Seeing Cynthia return, Justin let out a grunt and turned away. Cynthia ignored him and went straight upstairs.
Annoyed, Justin stood up and pointed at the back of her head. “Cynthia, do you even see me as part of your life anymore?”
Cynthia went straight to Shirley’s room. Selena was there too, helping Shirley drink some water.
Shirley took a sip of water. After regaining a bit more energy, she started cursing. “Cynthia, I’m going to kill you. Someday. Il kill you!”
Cynthia walked over slowly and said coldly, “Didn’t you already try that once?”
The room instantly went silent. When Shirley lifted her eyes and saw Cynthia, they were filled with anger and fear.
Selena was momentarily taken aback. “Cynthia, what do you mean by that?”
Cynthia didn’t want to explain anything further. She said calmly, “It’s nothing.”
Shirley initially thought Cynthia had found something suspicious. But then she remembered Luke was dead with no evidence left. Even if Cynthia said she knew Luke and that Shirley hired someone to kill her, Shirley could accuse her of slander.
“Cynthia, I won’t let you off the hook.”
Cynthia laughed. “You have quite a stubborn mouth. Looks like I came here for nothing today.”
With that, she turned to leave. Selena didn’t stop her, and Shirley rolled onto the floor.
“Cynthia, come back, please! It hurts too much, I can’t take it. Please help me.”
Shirley tried to crawl over, but her arms were too weak, and touching the floor caused her intense pain.
She lay on the ground, sobbing uncontrollably and begging for mercy repeatedly. She truly couldn’t endure it any longer.
Cynthia looked at her with a cold smirk and quickly set the dislocated bones in her body back to their places
Shirley could finally move. She quickly hid behind Selena, truly terrified of Cynthia, who would break her bones if she angered her again. Deep in her mind, however, she was still thinking about how to eliminate Cynthia.
When Cynthia entered, she noticed a gold–embossed invitation card on Shirley’s vanity. The design seemed familiar. She walked over for a closer look.
As expected, it was an invitation to the QUEEN’s jewelry exhibition. The reason the design looked so familiar was that she had casually sketched it herself.
Cynthia walked over and took a look, but Shirley was extremely agitated. She hurried over and snatched the invitation from Cynthia’s hand. Content protected by Nôv/el(D)rama.Org.
“Cynthia, what are you doing? This is an invitation to the QUEEN’s jewelry exhibition. You better not mess it up.”

Cynthia raised an eyebrow, 4 look of puzzlement on her face. There are only five hundred invitations to the QUEEN’s jewelry exhibition in the entire world, and you managed to get me?”
A proud smile quickly appeared on Shirley’s face. “Cynthia, stop underestimating me. I was invited by QUEEN, and you must be really jealous!”
Shirley sneered and asked mockingly. “Didn’t you, as Jonathan’s wife, receive an invitation? Seems like you’re not that important as a member of the Bennett family!”
