Chapter 118
Rowan’s POV
The thought of Nora weighed heavily on my mind. Despite the happiness and fulfillment I felt with Nesta and Rowan, there was an unresolved matter that gnawed at me.
How could I explain to Nora, my true mate, that my heart belonged to someone else? That it has always belonged to that certain someone?
That boney girl I first met in the dining room with scared eyes.
That the bond with Nesta and Nolan had become an unbreakable part of me, leaving little room for the love I was supposed to feel for her?
Nora had seemed distracted lately, almost as if she too sensed that something was amiss. But that didn’t make the task any easier.
I knew I had to confront the situation, to be honest with her, even if it meant breaking her heart. It cannot be any easier.
The thought of seeing her hurt because of me was almost unbearable, but it was better than living a Tie. Or letting her find out some other way.
Unable to bear the weight of these thoughts alone, I sought out Nolan. He was in the study, poring over some documents, but he looked up the moment I entered, sensing my turmoil.
“Nolan,” I began hesitantly, closing the door behind me. “I need your advice.”
He set the papers aside and gave me his full attention, concern etched on his face. He has been working but chatting on his phone.
He needs to add me in on that conversation because I’m sure he was talking to Nesta. He doesn’t have friends to text with.
“What’s on your mind, Rowan?”
I took a deep breath, trying to find the right words. “It’s about Nora. I… I don’t know how to tell her about my bond with Nesta and you. How do I explain that my second chance mate has my heart, and I can’t love her the way I’m supposed to?”
Nolan leaned back in his chair, his expression thoughtful. “That’s a difficult situation, Rowan. But honesty is the best approach. She is your childhood friend. You can’t continue to deceive her, and she deserves to know the truth.”
“But how?” I asked, feeling a sense of desperation. “How do I break it to her without completely shattering her?”Têxt belongs to NôvelDrama.Org.
Nolan sighed, rubbing his temples. “You need to be gentle but firm. Explain to her that while you care for her, your heart belongs to Nesta and me. It’s not going to be easy, and she will be hurt, but dragging it out will only make things worse.”
I nodded slowly, knowing he was right. “She’s been distracted lately, almost as if she senses something. Maybe… maybe she already knows.”
“That could be a possibility,” Nolan agreed. “Women have such instinct. But even if she does, hearing it from you will still be a shock. Be prepared for that.”
I swallowed hard, the weight of the impending conversation pressing down on me. My subject won’t believe I am such a pussy when it comes to women.
“Do you think she’ll understand?”
Nolan looked at me with a mixture of sympathy and determination. “I hope so, man. But no matter what, you have to do this. For her sake and yours. And for us, too.”
I took a deep breath, steeling myself for what lay ahead. “You’re right. I’ll talk to her. I’ll tell her everything.”
Nolan stood and placed a reassuring hand on my shoulder. “We’ll be here for you, whatever happens. You’re not alone in this.”
Inodded, grateful for his support. “Thank you, bro
I left the study, my mind was a whirlwind of emotions.
I knew the conversation with Nora would be one of the hardest things I’d ever have to do, but it was necessary. She deserved the truth, and I needed to set things right.
Later that day, I found a moment alone with Nora. She looked up at me with those familiar, warm eyes, and I felt a pang of guilt.
She deserved so much better than this, but I couldn’t continue living a lie. It has come to an end.
“Nora,” I began, my voice trembling slightly. “We need to talk.”
She heard the tremble and realized that I didn’t call her babe or baby. Yep, signs written all over. She nodded, her expression wary. “I’ve been feeling that something’s off, Rowan. I’m scared. What is it?”
I took a deep breath, steeling myself. “Don’t be. It’s about Nesta and Nolan. About us. I… I need to tell you the truth.”
And so, with my heart in my throat, I began to explain. The words came slowly at first, but as I spoke, they gained momentum.
I told her about the bond with Nesta, the feelings that had grown between us, and how I couldn’t love her the way I was supposed to.
I even told her about our past in the real sense and how we dumbly rejected her after she’s healed us because I wanted to be with her.
I also told her that she is pregnant with our baby.
Her eyes filled with tears, but she listened, letting the finish. When I was done, she sat in silence for a long moment, processing everything,
“I suspected something,” she said finally, her voice breaking. “But hearing it… it’s different.”
“I’m so sorry, Nora,” I whispered, my own eyes misting. “I never wanted to hurt you.”
She shook her head, wiping away her tears. “I appreciate your honesty, Rowan. It hurts, but… I think I’ve known for a while that something was different. I’ve been feeling disconnected too.”
Relief and sadness washed over me in equal measure. “Can you ever forgive me?”
She gave me a small, sad smile. “I think, in time, I can. But for now, I need to figure out what’s next for me.”
I nodded, understanding, “Take all the time you need. And if you ever need anything, I’ll be here.”
With that, we parted ways, and I returned to Nesta and Nolan because I couldn’t wait to be with them again. Just being around,
The conversation had been painful, but it was a necessary step towards finding a resolution. And now, with that weight lifted, I could focus on the future and the love that bound us all together.
As I made my way back to my room that night, eager to change into something more comfortable before heading to Nesta’s room, I felt a sense of contentment and excitement.
The thought of us all sleeping together filled me with warmth and anticipation. I couldn’t wait to be with Nesta and Nolan, our little family finally feeling whole.
Pushing open the door to my room, I was expecting a quick change of clothes, but instead, I was greeted by a sight that stopped me in my tracks.
There, on my bed, was Nora, entangled with another woman. Their bodies moved together in a rhythm that was both sensual and intense, their moans filling the room.
For a moment, I just stood there, shocked. I had always suspected Nora had a wandering eye, the way she occasionally eyed the maids around the palace.
But this confirmed it in a way I hadn’t fully anticipated. Sh was into women, too.
Nora’s head was buried between the woman’s legs, her mouth working feverishly, eliciting gasps and moans from her partner.
The other woman’s hands gripped Nora’s hair, her back arching in pleasure. The scene was incredibly erotic, and despite my initial shock, I felt a stirring of arousal within me.
The woman’s face is facing the other side but she looks older. I frowned but continued watching anyway. Something was off.
I leaned against the doorframe, unable to tear my eyes away. This is so fucking erotic.
The way their bodies moved, the raw intensity of their passion, was like watching an erotic movie unfold right in front of me.
Nora’s lips moved with skill and fervor, her partner’s body responding with shivers and cries of pleasure.
Watching them, I felt my own body responding. Heat pooled in my core, and I found myself growing hard.
The sight of Nora, the woman who had been my mate, so completely absorbed in her pleasure and giving pleasure, was a powerful turn–on.
I hadn’t expected to be aroused by this, but there was no denying the effect it was having on me. I touched my hard cock.
Nora’s moans grew louder, and I could see the tension building in her partner’s body.
Their movements became more frantic, more desperate, as they neared the edge. I watched, transfixed, as they reached their climax together, their cries mingling in the air.
As they collapsed into each other, breathing heavily, I finally stepped back, my mind racing.
I needed to process what I had just seen, to understand the implications of this new revelation. Nora’s desires were now laid bare, and I needed to figure out what that meant for us.
But for now, I had to focus on Nesta and Nolan. I quietly slipped out of the room, making my way to Nesta’s quarters.
The image of Nora and her lover still played in my mind, but I pushed it aside, determined to find solace and connection with the two people who meant the most to me.
Maybe we could have sex too because fucking hell, I’m hard.
