Chapter 516
Chapter 516
Sebastian was openly holding Julian's granddaughter in his arms and completely disregarded him.
Julian's temper flared instantly. "Flynn, this is your last warning. Let go of Cassandra right now, or I'll kill you! I don't care that you're the Yorks' heir!"
"And you think an old dog like you can kill me? You might want to take a closer look in the mirror," Sebastian retorted with blatant disdain.
The crowd erupted in shock.
"My God! Has Mr. Flynn lost his mind?"
Everyone was stunned.
It was one thing for "Flynn" to hold Cassandra publicly and even provoke Julian, but to insult him by calling him an old dog? That was practically begging for disaster.
"Flynn, what nonsense are you spouting? Let go of Ms. Lennon immediately and apologize to Mr. Lennon Senior!" Bradley scolded harshly.
Although the Yorks were slightly stronger than the Lennons, the difference wasn't significant. If conflict erupted, victory would come at a heavy price. It was something Bradley wanted to avoid at all costs.
"You little brat! I'll kill you!"
Julian could no longer restrain himself. He charged at Flynn with a roar, and his killing intent was palpable.
But Sebastian remained unfazed. After all, he was disguised as Flynn, and watching them turn on each other was exactly what he wanted. This would allow him to benefit from the chaos.
Unaware that the person before him was an imposter, Bradley quickly intervened to block Julian's attack.
"Mr. Lennon Senior, please calm down. Don't act rashly," Bradley urged, trying to diffuse the situation.
"This brat just called me an old dog in front of everyone! How do you expect me to calm down?" Julian shouted in fury.
Bradley quickly forced a smile and replied, "Mr. Lennon Senior, I have no idea what's gotten into him. I sincerely apologize on his behalf. Please, be the bigger person and let it slide."
Edwin also hurried over to mediate. "Mr. Lennon Senior, we must stay united against our common enemy. The overall situation is more important right now. Besides, our chances of securing a good ranking depend heavily on Mr. Flynn. If we finish last with only three spots, there won't be enough to go around."
Julian knew this all too well. Although he felt utterly humiliated, he recognized the importance of the larger goal. With the situation de-escalated, he grudgingly swallowed his anger.
Nonetheless, he secretly vowed to make Flynn pay dearly one day.
Sebastian was up again soon, this time facing Elsa. As she approached, Elsa smiled lightly at him. "I didn't expect your strength to skyrocket in such a short time. I'm really curious how did you do it?"
"That's my secret. It's a really big one. If you want to know, come closer, and I'll tell you quietly," Sebastian replied with a grin.
"Alright," Elsa agreed, moving closer to him.
Their voices weren't exactly quiet, so anyone with a decent level of cultivation could hear their exchange.
Bradley immediately grew anxious. "Flynn, don't let your guard down. Watch out for a honey trap."Còntens bel0ngs to Nô(v)elDr/a/ma.Org
Of course, Sebastian wasn't about to drop his guard. He was well aware of Elsa's formidable strength and knew that underestimating her could lead to an unexpected defeat.
Yet, when Elsa reached him, she leaned in closer instead of launching an attack as many had expected. She brought
her ear to his lips.
"I'll tell you, but you have to promise not to share it with anyone else," Sebastian whispered.
"Okay, I promise. I won't even tell my father or brother," Elsa assured him.
"Actually, I'm not Flynn York."
"What?" Elsa gasped, then asked, "Who are you?"
"I'm someone everyone thinks is already dead," Sebastian replied, his tone laden with meaning.
Elsa was initially taken aback, but then something clicked in her mind.
"I see."
