Chapter 3214
Chapter 3214
"I'll adjust my cooking to Ms. Isabella's preferences. That way, I can improve. Once she's satisfied with every dish I make, I'll be ready to graduate."
Dominic laughed. "Ms. Isabella probably can't do without you at that point."
Austin wanted to say he would be happy to cook for Isabella for the rest of his life, but he held back because it would easily give the wrong impression. Even if his secondary objective was to woo Isabella, he could not reveal any such inclination.
Isabella was managing her family company and was obviously a sharp and capable woman. An iron lady like her was not easy to woo.
It was evident from Kevin taking such a long time to finally win Hayden over despite taking a shortcut with Serenity's help.
Dominic belatedly realized his statement could easily give someone the wrong impression and hurriedly changed the subject.
"Austin, you were busy the whole afternoon, so you should turn in early today. Tomorrow, you have to wake up early to prepare breakfast for Ms. Isabella. She sends Master Louis to school every day before going to the office, so they eat the earliest.
"Their breakfasts have to be ready by seven. You can prepare for the others after nine. Mr. and Mrs. O'Connor usually get up around half-past ten or eleven.”Property belongs to Nôvel(D)r/ama.Org.
Austin was speechless for a moment. "They'd be eating breakfast and lunch together by then."
Dominic nodded. "That's what they do. They'll go out after having their meal and come back for dinner in the evening. I'll inform you in advance if they don't plan to, and you can clock out then. You'll only have to worry about filling your own stomach."
Essentially, at the main house, only Isabella and Louis would be having breakfast.
"Does Ms. Isabella not come home for dinner?"
"Normally, she doesn't. She'll let me
know beforehand if she does. Master Louis would be with his parents when he gets out of school, so he rarely eats dinner at home as well, However, everyone's very happy with your cooking-they night come back for dinner more often for the next while."
Every time they hired a new chef, everyone would come home for dinner every day for a few days. Once the novelty had passed, they would go back to having dinner on their own.
Austin noted this. The O'Connors
were not like the Yorks, who had fixed mealtimes. If everyone returned to Wildridge Manor, they would eat all three meals together, especially breakfast and lunch. any of them did not get up in time, Grandma May would whack them with her cane until they leaped out of bed to eat.
She said that having irregular meals would easily result in digestive problems. If that happened, it would take a very long time to recover.
Serenity took a very long timeline?
When Zack had gastric issues,
help him regulate his stomach and recover. She would make sure he
ate his meals on time.
Austin did not care much about others' stomachs, but he definitely had to help ensure Isabella did not have permanent gastric problems because of her dietary habits.
"If there's nothing else, you should turn in-and feel free to ask me anything if you have any questions."
"Alright. Thanks, Dominic," Austin said.
He walked downstairs and saw Dominic off before heading back up to his quarters. Then, he texted his family group chat to tell them he passed the interview.
Isabella had hired him, which meant Mr. Abbot and the rest no longer had a chance. Austin would not feel guilty because it had been a fair competition and he had won with his ability.
