Beat Him Up
Beat Him Up
GRANT’S car seemed to be on fire because of its speed on the way to his twin brother's condo. “Dude, slow down. You might bring us to an accident,” complained Ali. Grant did not answer and quickly turned the vehicle into the location of his brother’s condo. “That fucktard was getting on my nerves. Shitty traitor!” he exclaimed with annoyance. When he parked his car, he quickly went inside the building. Ali ran to catch up. “Don’t be in a hurry. You might regret what you can do.” “That asshole deserves to die,” he said. “Helios order, just teach him a lesson and find out what is his reason and their plans—" “My eyesight is getting dark, and I can’t promise that I will leave that man unscratched.” Ali shook his head in disbelief. Grant stepped outside it when the elevator opened and walked towards his twin brother’s unit, followed by Ali. Grant almost broke the doorbell of the unit due to his violent pressing. His right hand pulled the gun from behind and hooked it up. “Dude, find out everything first before you make something you might regret in the end,” Ali reminded again. When Gunner saw his twin brother’s face outside his unit, he began to worry. But he knew it would happen, so he didn’t hesitate to open the door. His hunch was correct when his brother pointed the gun at his forehead and shouted at him. “Damn it! So, you’re the traitor in the group, huh!” he shouted and pressed the gun into his forehead. “I’m sorry,” were the words that came from Gunner’s mouth. Grant punched his twin, and his face turned to the left. He deserves it. Grant let go of the gun he was holding and quivered and punched his twin in the face again. He gave him another blow to the stomach and knocked him out. While Ali remained on the side, watching him.
“That’s why Helios threatened and kept an eye on me because of you. Bullshit, Gun! Bullshit! What the hell is your problem?! Why do you have to do that?” he asked at the top of his lungs. Gunner just shook his head, and because of that, his brother punched him again. He doesn’t want to betray the organization, but his friend has a personal issue. So, he sided with him because he was his best friend. He doesn’t want to leave him, especially now that it seems like the man has a mental disorder. And he believes that he could bring his friend back to normal. Gunner believes that his friend was just blinded by envy and the desire for revenge. “Answer me!” Grant shouted, but his twin remained silent. Grant kept on knocking him until his body wanted to give up. On the other hand, Ali sees that Grant seems to be out of control, so he hesitates to take him away from Gunner. “Stop it, already, Grant!” shouted Ali. Ali was able to keep Grant away, but they couldn’t stop Gunner from losing his consciousness. Ali wiped his palm into his face and felt annoyed because of Grant. Ali told him to control himself and not get blinded by his anger, but Grant didn’t listen. As a doctor, he immediately examined Gunner—he was still breathing. Ali told Grant to pick his brother up and rush him to the hospital. … ZOE CURSED under her breath when the scene last night kept on replaying inside her mind. Did they really do it? Of course, they did. Damn! Why did she give in immediately? What if… What if she gets pregnant again? Things aren’t stable yet. But it was already done, and she couldn’t undo it. “Babe, come down!” shouted Helios outside the bathroom. ‘Fucking endearment, I’m thrilled,’ she thought. “You go first. I’ll just take a quick shower,” she replied. “Okay, please hurry up. We’ll wait for you downstairs,” he said. She didn’t answer it and just quickly took a shower so that she could catch up.
When she came down, Helios was busy feeding their daughter. A genuine smile flustered on her face. Who would've taught that Helios could be a father figure? He can be so gentle and caring. His actions were so tangible. It seems like he doesn't hide a monster inside him. But even if he hides his monstrousness, she will accept him wholeheartedly; that's what love can do. She will accept whoever he is. She loves him and can accompany him in any fight, even if her life will be at stake. Fear was ranging inside her, but her love for him was more dominant than it. The moment she knew about Helios being involved in a mafia—which she knew that it's dangerous, she accepter everything. She approached her daughter and kissed the child on her cheek. She then went closer to Helios and kissed him on the cheek, but he nudged himself and faced her. Thus her lips landed on his lips. She lightly slapped his arm and shook her head. Her heart thumps fast, and even the maids can’t stop themselves from smiling—they seem to love what they see. Suddenly, she thought of mischief. Instead of sitting next to him, she turned to the other side. She was about to pull the chair when Helios dropped the spoon he was holding. It wasn’t loud, but it was enough to show how annoyed he seemed because of what she did. She wants to burst into laughter, but she holds it. She was about to grab the bowl of rice when Helios spoke. "You don't like it when I get angry, baby," he said with his deep and demandingly voice. She gulped. Why does she seem to think differently about Helios’s threat? “Geez, just shut up and feed our daughter. You have an appointment, right?” Helios mentioned last night that he had important things to do with his friends. And she doesn’t know who these friends he’s talking about. Maybe it was Calyx or Ali or Bill? "Come and sit beside me. Don't make me repeat things that I've just said." Helios seemed annoyed. She then stood up and sat beside him. “Don’t ever sleep beside me, get it?” she whispered. If he got lucky last night, she would ensure that he would not do it again. Not until he will ask for her hand and marry her. “And oh… take us home later after your business outside. My mom and aunt already arrived home,” she said.
She was about to pick up the rice bowl when Helios picked it up and put some on her plate. Helios asked her what dish she wanted. She then pointed to the ham and egg. Helios then immediately took it and put some on her plate. “That’s enough. Why did you put that much on my plate?” she said, seeming pissed. “Are you that mad?” “No. I just noticed that you’re losing weight.” What? Her? Losing weight? Her body shape and kilos were all right. She’s not fat nor thin. She rolled her eyes and began eating her dish. “Da-da, pyay (play),” said the young girl who happened to watch them. Helios’s eyes widened. She then laughed at his reaction. He must get used to their child’s speech. Hela isn't getting younger. Later on, she will walk and run. And she hopes when Hela reaches that stage, all things must be done... must be cleared off. No more problems—well, we can't tell there were no problems at all because it’s always been there since then. We'll just say, no more conflicts or secrets. Just like what Hela Selene wanted, Helios played with her first before saying goodbye to them and leaving. She wanted to ask the guy where he's been to. Who will be with him—but she remains silent and just give the man a kiss and a hug. She called home and told her mother that they would be staying in their house—the one Helios built. She didn’t hear any complaints from her mother—because she was in favor of Helios as her future husband. And they always tell her that they will be safe when they are with Helios. It seems like her mother also understands who Helios really is. Her mom knew Helios's father— what kind of person he is, and for sure… she knew his secrets too. Zoe hopes to get things better when Helios already finds the problem behind all the shits. This content © Nôv/elDr(a)m/a.Org.
