Chapter 14 One Clear Purpose
Chapter 14 One Clear Purpose
Emily was putting up her makeup and dressed up nicely as usual. She was having a good complexion
recently. A few skincare products she used gave a high color on her face.
She had slender fingers, smooth and white necks, her side face was as beautiful as a work of art, and
she sat in front of the mirror and sculpted her face meticulously, her beauty can even be compared with
those celebrities from movies.
Emily turned her head around and wanted to ask something but noticed that Sebastian was leaning on
the bed frame smoking and gazing deeply into her eyes as if he was simply admiring her but seeming
lost.
"Am I that charming?" she asked deliberately.
Sebastian's face looked a bit off after he heard what she just said. He glanced at her with all his
thoughts and snorted disgustedly. He wanted to tell her that no matter how charming she was, she was
still a cunning fox. A fox is a demon after all and doesn’t matter how beautiful it is, it is still not up to
standard.
He kept his silence, continued smoking his cigarettes, Emily murmured in a dull quiet voice, "Since I
am so charming, why wouldn’t you ever think of putting effort into building our relationship…?"
Sebastian retracted his gaze and put out the cigarette from his hand. He got up and went to bathroom
while avoiding eye contact with her, "This is the last time. I don't want to see your face again in the
future."
He didn't want to admit that he was slightly carried away by her beauty, it was just because she was a
bitchy woman.
It felt like a bucket of icy cold water poured all over her head and smashed her self-esteem all over the
ground. All she got from him was just being used and then dumped like a cheap piece of trash?
A loud sound of water splash came from the bathroom as Sebastian was preparing for a shower. Emily
walked towards the bathroom and knocked the glass door from the outside.

shrewd woman had thrown his dry clean clothes on the ground.
He secretly cursing at Emily as she was a vixen, as she could never stop luring or seducing.
Emily was waiting outside the door. Nothing was happening and it seemed too quiet from the bathroom.
He knocked at the door twice, "Sebastian, I have something that accidentally dropped inside. Excuse
me, please pass it to me."
He ignored her and continued to take a bath.
Sebastian was thinking to himself talking to Emily, “You are not quite capable, get in and get it yourself
if you can”.
After he came out from his bath, Emily had already left out of the blue, she left a note on the table
—"Thank you for your company for a great night. I enjoyed it very much.”
"Cheap." He gritted his teeth and popped out the word.
Emily went downstairs, blew a loud whistle over the window, and then got into the taxi.
She took out a stack of photos she had just received from someone else, and the photos were quite
startling.
This is her trump card, and also the purpose of her appointment with Sebastian Clark—It would play a
big role shortly.
The remaining half of the month, she went to work every single day, and after Louisa moved out,
Dorothy rarely came to the house.
Emily investigated Sebastian thoroughly, knowing that he rarely wandered around in the Clark family,
and spent most of his time working for Seaview Properties. It was a company under his name which
had nothing to do with the family.
It was all in her control. She went to Sebastian's company to make a mess out of it, since it’s just a
private property, and that should be harmless.
As soon as she entered Seaview Properties, she asked: "Is Mr. Clark here?"
"Do you have an appointment?" The lady at the front desk frowned and looked at Emily. She had that
big curly wave hair till her waist, gorgeous face, good temperament, and also she was wearing a
woolen coat that was pretty trending recently.
She thought, “Is she looking for trouble?”
She raised her eyebrows and responded, "I must see Mr. Clark."
The attitude of the receptionist, however, was bolder, "If you have not yet made an appointment, please
make an appointment first."
