Spoiled by the Silver Fox

Chapter 240

Maddie was all chill, happily thinking, "As long as you remember me, that's all that matters... Look closely at my nose now, it's been fixed! You can't just remember me with a crooked nose; you gotta remember me with a straight nose too!"

Putnam: "..." How was he supposed to respond?

Stephanie couldn't help but smile, "Maddie, don't worry, he'll definitely be impressed by you!"

Putnam glared at her without saying anything.

Feeling guilty, Stephanie turned her head and saw the operating room door suddenly open.

Not caring about anything else, she walked over with a serious face and quickly asked, "Doctor! Is my mom's surgery finished?"

"No, I just came out to get something, the surgery won't be that fast. Please, Ms. Bishop, have patience!"

"How's my mom's surgery going? Is it smooth?"

"Don't worry, everything's going well so far!"

"That's good... Thank you, doctor, y'all are working so hard!"

Phew, nothing bad happened so far.

Gillian, holding her hand, said, "Steph, don't worry! The doctor said everything's fine, so it must be."

Stephanie finally cracked a smile and said, "Thanks for coming to keep me company..."

"There's no need to be polite with us!" Maddie and Gillian said at the same time.Còntens bel0ngs to Nô(v)elDr/a/ma.Org

"Same here! As long as Mrs. Bishop's surgery goes smoothly, that's what matters." Putnam smiled faintly.

Cyrus said, "It's almost noon, what do y'all want to eat? I'll go get some?"

Right then, Sebastian texted Stephanie.

Stephanie glanced at the message and shook her head, "No need. Silver Fox said he'll come and treat everyone to lunch." Hearing that, Putnam laughed, "Then let's wait for Sebastian to treat us. Mr. Klein, how about you? Joining us?" Cooper casually said, "No need... I'll eat on my own after Mrs. Bishop's surgery is over."

Curiosity flashed in Stephanie's eyes as she looked at Cooper. Cooper seemed young but quite mature. He seemed very different from the Klein family's two daughters.

Aside from greeting her at the beginning, he never initiated a conversation with Stephanie again. The only time he spoke up was to argue with Maddie while protecting Angela.

After Putnam's arrival interrupted them, he didn't say anything more.

This guy probably didn't like causing trouble. He might be the only person from the Klein family that she felt somewhat positive about. Sebastian arrived at 12:30 pm. Marilyn still hadn't left the operating room.

He notified Putnam to go eat with everyone first, thinking that the little girl wouldn't go, so he brought a separate lunch for Stephanie. As he approached the operating room, he saw the little girl sitting anxiously by the door.

Not far from her, there was a man standing.

Sebastian walked over with the lunch and glanced at Cooper's face.

Cooper saw him and nodded indifferently.

Sebastian shifted his gaze and walked towards Stephanie.

Seeing him, Stephanie asked in surprise, "Silver Fox, are you done with your work?" "Yes... Sorry, I'm a bit late."

"It's fine... My mom hasn't come out of the operating room yet, but when a doctor came out earlier to get something, he said everything was going smoothly so far."

"Then why do you still have that look on your face?"

Stephanie was taken aback, then forced a bitter smile, "I'm just a little scared..."

"First, let's eat. I didn't know what girls like to eat, so I just bought some random stuff."
