After Gian and I went to a Cafe and now that I’m at home I still can’t forget what I saw before, I can’t be wrong because I know my wife from any angle.

All I know is that she went to the Montreal Company earlier but I never thought I would see her with a man and I’m sure it wasn’t Marcus.

It’s already 8pm but she still hasn’t come home and didn’t even bother to call me to say she’ll be home late. Soon the door opened and I spit out what I had been waiting for.

She smiled at me when she saw me. “Hi baby, you’re already here.”

“Why? Do you expect me not to be home at this time? Why are you late? I know you’re only in Montreal until 5pm ah.” I promise.

“I already left Montreal early and I need to go somewhere.”

“Where is that? It’s eight o’clock at night Agatha and you didn’t even tell me.” I said.

She sighed. “I’m sorry baby, I talked to a client and it ended late.”

I want to believe what she said but my mind doesn’t want to. “Are you sure that it’s a client?” I still scoff.

“W-what are you saying? Of course! I have no one else to go and talk to if not a client.”

I could see the fear on her face so I knew she wasn’t really telling me something. “I don’t know if I’ll believe or not in the excuses you’re saying.” I said seriously.

“What do you mean Ethan? That I’m lying to you?”

“I didn’t say such a thing, you know how much I trust you Agatha because you’re my wife and I love you. How many times have I asked where you’re going because in the past few days I’ve noticed that you are always leaving the house and you’re not really in Montreal and even the person you talk to on the phone I don’t interfere because you said it was just a client. ” I said.

“What are you really talking about? I know I’m wrong because I didn’t tell you that I’ll be home late and that’s not enough reason for you to doubt me, right?”

“But how can I explain what I saw earlier? I saw you in a Cafe with another man!” I strongly promise.

She was silent for a moment and cast spells one after another.

I slowly walked closer to her. “Now tell me Agatha, is there no reason -for me to doubt? Or should I know something?” I added.

She held my hands. “I swear I’m not hiding anything from you and if you think I have someone else you’re mistaken. If I have things not telling you it’s because there’s a reason for that.”

“From what you’re saying it’s obvious that you’re hiding something from me Agatha. I don’t know what to think now.” I ejaculated and removed her hand that was holding me.

“Ethan, please believe me. You know how much I love you and I won’t do anything that will hurt you.”

“I’m tired and I need to rest. Just talk to me if you’re ready to tell me the thing you’re hiding.” I said and turned my back on her.

I heard her call me a few times but I didn’t bother to look back at her because I didn’t want the conversation to go any further because it was obvious that she really had no intention of telling me the thing she was hiding.

When I entered the room, I went straight to the bathroom to take a shower and change my clothes. It also took me about ten minutes before I finally came out.

I saw my wife just sitting quietly on the bed, I didn’t speak anymore and just went straight to the small table in our room and opened the laptop.

“I thought you wanted to rest, why are you still working?” She asked.

“I only have emails to check for a while before bed.” I answered her.

I need to read the document sent to me by my secretary.

“Would you like me to make you some coffee?”

“No need, it’s just a moment and I’ll rest.” I answered.

“Are you mad at me?”

I stopped reading for a moment and looked at her. “Why should I?” I asked.

“I know you because you’re my husband so I know if you’re sulking or mad at me.”

“Nothing should be upset if you’re thinking about it. Like I told you I’m willing to listen when you’re ready to tell me what you are hiding. You don’t have to deny it to me Agatha because I know you’re not saying something to me.” my long promise.

“I’m sorry baby, I don’t want you to think that way. But I hope you don’t think that I have someone else because that thing will never happen. You are the one who I chose to get married to and I have no plans to ruin our relationship. ”

I nodded to her and went back to what I was doing. “Go to sleep now, it’s already late.” I commanded her.

She didn’t argue anymore and walked to bed, I’m not really mad at her. I knew in myself that Agatha can’t hide any secrets from me and I know that she will tell me the truth one of these days. I don’t know what that thing is but I believe my wife had a reason why she kept it.

When I finished reading the documents sent by my secretary, I closed the laptop and then went to bed to take a rest. I still have work tomorrow.

I kissed Agatha on the cheek before finally lying down next to her.
