Have you ever been at the lowest point of life? When all hope has been lost, and there's nothing you
can do? At times like this, you need a candle. Even though the light wasn't that bright, it could at least
give off a little light. But, if the candle is also dim, can you still survive?
Maybe your fate will be the same as Farrell. The man never stopped to pray, even he had not slept
after fifteen hours had passed, when Retha - the wife that Farrel had just found had an accident. Her
condition is really at the lowest point of life, even Retha can still live only because of the help of tools.
The doctor explained that there was very little hope. Remembering that Retha had previously had an
accident that was just as bad as she was, and she was also in a coma for quite a long time. Second
chances are rare, but Farrel really hopes that God will give Retha that opportunity so that she can
come back to her senses.
Don't forget about Dave who was also a victim, Dave's current condition is no less pathetic. He was
bleeding profusely and immediately needed a donor, fortunately his and Farrell's blood were the same.
Now, Farrel is also waiting for Dave to pass his critical period.
It's all because of Charles, if that guy hadn't kidnapped Dave, this wouldn't have happened. Or, all this
is his fault? Because, the plan to run to the highway was Farel's plan. Yes, true. This was one hundred
percent Farrell's fault, and if neither Retha nor Dave survived, then Farrell would never forgive himself.
"How are they?" asked Samudra, who had just arrived after visiting his son.
"Dave's critical, and Re's even worse."
Ocean patted Farrell on the shoulder. "They will be safe, I'm sure."
"They're suffering because of me, Sam. I don't belong with them, should I just go?"
"You are crazy?" Ocean slapped Farrell hard on the cheek. "Get your head, you idiot! If you get away
from them, then who will look after them? You want them to come back to that Charles?"
Farrel shook his head, "No."
"Yasudah! Be a Farrel Manggala Wdyatmaja, who has no fear in his life! The Farrels I know, are even
more powerful than this. I know you can, if you are weak like this, with whom your children and your
wife can depend their lives on. ? "
"You're right," said Farrell, "they need me."
"You know, this is the first time I've seen fear on your face."
Farrel nodded his head, "In my life, for the first time I felt fear, afraid to lose."

A week has passed, and Retha's condition has not improved. In fact, his level of consciousness
continued to decline over time. Coupled with the seizures that almost always came to Retha.
Farrel is starting to give up, he doesn't feel strong if he has to see Retha's condition like this. As days
go by, Farrel's memory is getting better, the sicker he feels because he managed to remember his
sweet moments with Retha, before. That moment cannot be repeated, not with Retha's condition which
is getting worse every day.
Assistance of tools all over Retha's body that keeps her alive. If the tool is removed? Then the breath
ends too. Farrel began to not bear to see the condition of his wife, it seemed he was too selfish if he
continued to let Retha be tormented with tools all over her body. But, he also didn't want to take the risk
of losing her a second time.
Farrel stared gloomily at the figure of a woman who was now lying struggling to live in front of him, for
the first time Farrel felt tremendous fear. Farrel sighed, he then moved to kiss Retha's forehead for a
long time, even until her tears fell right on Retha's forehead. Belonging © NôvelDram/a.Org.
"Get up," muttered Farrel, unable to hide his sadness.
"Father ..."
Farrel looked back and found Dave who was sitting in a wheelchair that was pushed by Valerie, Farrel
smiled slightly as he walked over to the boy. Dave has realized since five days ago, Farrel is grateful
that Dave survived and his health continues to improve. At least, she still had Dave to look after.
"Hey, son. What's wrong?" asked Farrell, kneeling to match Farrell's height.
"When will you wake up? I miss her. I am willing that she keeps me up every day, as long as she wakes
up now."
"Pray, Dave. Get your Mom to wake up quickly, and we'll go home."
"Return?"
"Yes, go home. You don't want to come with Father to Indonesia?"
Dave nodded his head, "Will."
"Then, you must get well soon. Then, we wait for your mother to open her eyes."
"Are you going to wake up?" Dave asked, striking Farrell's heart, because, to be honest, even Farrell
wasn't sure what to answer.
"Of course, Dave. What are you talking about? umu is a strong woman, if he found out that someone
underestimated him, he would not like it, "Farrel did not answer, but Valerie.
"Aunty," Dave called softly, "what language do you speak? I ... don't understand."
"Gosh, you don't understand Indonesian, Dave?" asked Valerie in surprise.
Dave shook his head.
"Then, why did you nod your head when I asked if you had a grave or not?"
"I don't know, Mother taught me to always answer politely when someone asks. You ask me in a
language I don't understand, if I reply in a different language then it's rude, so I just nodded," explained
Dave at length.
"Gosh, look how smart this kid is. It is certain that he is indeed your son and Re," Valerie looked up at
Farrel.
Farrel chuckled, then ruffled the top of Dave's head, "We'll learn Indonesian, okay?"
"All right," Dave nodded obediently.
There was silence for a moment, until the EKG machine that displayed Retha's heartbeat sounded
loud. A panicked Farrel immediately ran over to Retha, who was experiencing convulsions again. Farrel
immediately pressed the bell to call the doctors so that she could immediately treat Retha's worsening
condition.
Not long after, several people dressed all in white came. Farrel was sure it was a doctor and a nurse,
because one of them now approached Farrel and told him to wait outside. Farrel complied by inviting
Valerie and Dave to wait outside. Farrel's heart was beating fast, somehow his mind told him something
was wrong.
In his mind, an unsuspecting image appeared. It made Farrel feel strange, it felt like what he was
imagining now was real. He continued to imagine bad things, even though he had pushed the thought
away. All of Farrel's thoughts vanished, when the doctor came out of Retha's room.
The doctor looked at Farrel with an inexplicable gaze, he walked over to Farrell and tapped Farrel
lightly on the shoulder, "We are sorry."
