True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz)

Chapter 2240

Chapter 2240

Grace immediately pulled Heiz's hand away and reminded him, "Don't touch me. The children are coming."

He smiled, "Okay, but you have to promise me not to be mad anymore. Okay?"

His hand still did not leave her cheek.

She frowned and exerted more force into peeling his arm off her, glaring at him.

From a distance, Claudia could tell that the two of them were flirting with each other.

Observing from far away, she concluded that Sylvia's parents were very much in love with each other, even after spending so many years with each other. She envied their loving marriage.

Any woman would be satisfied to be with a man who loved her so deeply.

Heinz was looking at Grace so tenderly and passionately.

It was as if they were a new pair of couple, and it felt nice to Claudia.

Any outsider would be envious of them.

She turned to look at Sylvia.

Sylvia shrugged and said, "We've long been used to it. My parents have always been this close. You must be very envious of them, right?"

Claudia nodded and sighed, "I am indeed. Not many middle-aged couples still have the bravery to get pregnant again, let alone be this close to each other."

"That's right," Sylvia said, "Ever since I could remember, my parents' relationship has been very good, and it's still the same now."

"I can tell." Claudia nodded.

"Are you envious?"

"I am!" Claudia admitted.

"This is why I told you the men in our family are all very loyal." Sylvia looked at Claudia and said meaningfully.

Claudia smiled and didn't answer, but she understood what Sylvia meant.

Sylvia was trying to sell Sebastian out to her, but she knew she couldn't push her luck when it came to certain things.

"Let's go. It's impolite to leave Uncle Jones and Aunt Smith waiting there for so long. Besides, I haven't finished eating yet. It will be a waste not to eat the dishes here. They're just so good." Claudia subtly changed the topic.

Sylvia had a feeling that Claudia had already buried Sebastian deep into her heart.

Perhaps Claudia might not mention him at all in the future.

Sylvia felt pity for her.

She turned around and looked up the stairs, recalling Sebastian's action. In fact, she was worried about him.

However, no matter how anxious she was, she knew very well deep down that she had to respect him and his wishes as she couldn't force him.

She quickly returned to the dining table with Claudia.

After dinner, Claudia was ready to say goodbye.

Grace asked her to stay, but Claudia refused politely and then bid her and Heinz goodbye.

Grace arranged for the driver to send Claudia back, and she left without even saying goodbye to Sebastian.

Sebastian was still in his room upstairs when she left. However, he saw the car depart as his tall figure stood by his window, unable to move for some time.

Sylvia saw Claudia off.

The two girls chatted at the door for a while.

Sylvia was still feeling sorry for Claudia.

She held Claudia's hand and whispered, "Claudia, will you come back to our house in the future?"

"Of course." Claudia burst into laughter. "Why do you ask?"

"I thought you wouldn't." Sylvia laughed as well, embarrassed for overthinking.

She thought Claudia surely wouldn't come again since Sebastian treated her so coldly.

It was great that Claudia would still want to visit, and that was unexpected.

"How could that be?" Claudia smiled and said, "We're friends, and your chef cooks a great meal. Plus, you'll be my cousin-in-law in the future. Of course, come over. I want to have a goodrelationship with you from the start, and I can help you two improve your relationship-by

checking in on my cousin. That's like

killing two birds in one stone."

"Why are you mentioning this now?" Sylvia instantly blushed and looked at Claudia with embarrassment.

"Are you embarrassed?" Claudia smiled and teased her, "Aren't you and Kendrix truly in love? Don't you want to be my cousin-in-law?"

She of course wanted it, but she would still feel shy as she said it out loud like that.

Sylvia was so easily embarrassed, so she flushed immediately after hearing Claudia's words, almost getting panic.

Fortunately, it was late at night, and the lights were dim. Otherwise, others would easily see her red face.

"Stop it," she said in a low voice.

"Okay, I'll stop it here." Claudia smiled, "I know deep down, you actually can't wait for that to happen. It's just that you're embarrassed to admit it."

"Then stop teasing me. I feel like I will die from embarrassment." complained Sylvia.

"Don't worry. You look cute even when you're embarrassed. Kendrix will surely pounce on you if he sees you." Claudia hugged her and said, "All right, I'm leaving. I've unpacked everything in my new place already. You can come over to visit me

during the weekend if you want."Original content from NôvelDrama.Org.

"You bet I will. I'll go before school reopens to celebrate you moving in." Sylvia suggested, "Forget it. I'll just go tomorrow to celebrate for you."

"Do you not have to prepare for school reopen?" Claudia couldn't bear to watch such a delicate girl being so sweet.

"I'm done with that. I don't need to prepare much either. So, I'll see you tomorrow?" Sylvia asked.

"Okay. I'll give you a surprise." As Claudia spoke, there was a flash of light in her eyes, looking mischievous. "A big surprise," she said cheekily. Subconsciously, Sylvia thought of Kendrix. Could it be that Claudia was going to ask him to join them?

In that case, it would indeed be a big surprise. However, Sylvia was too embarrassed to ask. She was dying to know and barely holding it in Claudia was really excited. She had already seen through Sylvia's

worries and expectations

It didn't matter to her. She told her directly, "I'll call Kendrix to come over. He'll surely come if you're around. I guarantee."

"That's not for sure," Sylvia muttered.

"No, I know he will." Claudia snorted, "Don't think that I didn't expect you two to be together. I'm telling you, I'm a police, so I have a great hunch. I have my ways to find out things that I want to know about."

Sylvia's heart skipped a beat as she was a little shocked by Claudia's words.

Claudia was smart and sensitive. Did she really find out about them?

Sylvia muttered to herself, feeling a little guilty.

When she thought of how she had hidden it from Claudia, she felt even guiltier. She did not dare to look at Claudia. She lowered her head and said, "All right. Get him to come then."

If they met, she wouldn't need to explain, and Claudia would find out herself. By then, Kendrix wouldn't have to hide it from Claudia, and she would also feel better.

After all, it was not a good idea to keep such a huge secret from a friend.

"I will. Don't worry." Claudia smiled, "He might not say yes at first, but I know he will come if I tell him you are over."

"What if he decided just not to come if you tell him that I'm coming?" Sylvia pouted.

"How is that possible? Don't you know how charming you are?" Claudia patted Sylvia on the shoulder. "Well, I should go."
