Chapter 952: Getting Married
Luna responded, “I’m fine.”
“Oh, this new aunt’s surname is Wang,” Orion introduced Luna to Aunt Wang.
Luna smiled and nodded at Aunt Wang, saying, “Hello.”
“This is my wife,” Orion said to Aunt Wang.
Aunt Wang immediately responded respectfully, “Hello, Mrs.”
Luna was not accustomed to this title, but she did not object and politely nodded.
Orion embraced her and they went back to their room.
Luna asked, “Why didn’t you wake me up?”
“I saw you sleeping soundly,” Orion replied.
He couldn’t bear to wake her up.
He knew she was tired last night.
Orion held her close and said, “Luna, I’m so happy.”
Luna hugged his waist back and said, “I am too.”
Orion kissed her forehead and said, “I’ll be waiting for you outside, let’s have dinner together.”
“Have you not eaten yet?” Luna asked.
“No, I was waiting for you,” Orion replied.
“Next time, don’t wait for me,” Luna said, “If you’re hungry, eat first.”
“Okay,” Orion said.
The meal was prepared by the new servant.
While they were eating, Star woke up, and Luna was about to get up when Aunt Wang said, “I’ll take care of her, you have your meal first.”
Orion also held Luna’s hand and said, “Sit down, eat.”
“I’m afraid…” Luna hesitated.
“She may not be a professional, but she can hold a child well, trust me,” Orion reassured Luna.
Luna nodded.
“Enjoy your meal,” Orion served her some soup.
“Okay,” Luna replied.
While they were eating, Orion’s phone rang. He hadn’t been to the office for the past few days, and there were things he needed to take care of.
“You should go, I’ll take care of Star,” Luna said.
Orion nodded, “I’ll be back soon.”
“You should take care of your work,” Luna said.
After all, his job was smooth and stable, and they both needed a stable life.
It may sound practical, but isn’t that how everyone lives?
She just wanted a simple life.
After dinner, Orion went to the office.
Luna went to hold Star.
Having someone there, Luna did feel much more relaxed.
…
Orion came back early, around four in the afternoon.
Star was sleeping, and Luna was preparing her food.
Orion took her hand and led her to the living room.
“I haven’t finished making Star’s food yet,” Luna said.
“We can do it later,” Orion said seriously, looking at her. “Luna, let’s get married.”
Luna asked in confusion, “Aren’t we already living together?”
“I mean, let’s get married, with a wedding, a marriage certificate, so that everyone knows we are husband and wife,” Orion explained, holding her hand tightly.
“I don’t want you to be ambiguously living with me, let’s get married, okay?” Orion gazed at her eagerly.
Luna looked into his eyes and nodded gently, “Okay.”
Orion smiled, “I’ll make the arrangements then?”
“Okay,” Luna agreed.
Orion looked like a happy child, full of joy.
Seeing him smile, Luna’s heart also widened.
“I’ll go check on Star,” Orion went to Star’s room.
Meanwhile, Luna returned to the kitchen to continue preparing Star’s food.
Star had just slept a short while, but she woke up. Luna said, “She should be able to sleep a little longer.”
“I want to hold her,” Orion said.
Luna frowned, “So, you woke her up?”
“She didn’t cry,” Orion explained.
Luna was speechless, but she didn’t say anything.
Fortunately, the food was ready, and Star could eat when she got tired of playing.
In the following days, Orion was very busy. He went to see venues for the wedding, took Luna to choose a wedding gown…
There were many things to prepare.
Time passed slowly and steadily.
Freya received the wedding invitation half a month later.
They had everything planned before sending out the invitations.
Freya knew that their relationship had improved, but she didn’t expect them to marry so soon.
“Mom, are you going back to the country again?” Kai asked.
He didn’t mind, but Morton couldn’t bear to part with Freya. He clung to her, now able to speak clearly, “Mom, Mom…”
Freya hugged him and looked at Elijah, “Are you going back with me?”
After all, given Elijah’s relationship with Orion, he might also go back.
Kai exclaimed, “Dad is going back too? Then I want to go back too.”© 2024 Nôv/el/Dram/a.Org.
Freya looked at her son, “Wasn’t that just now the case of you not minding?”
Kai smiled, “It’s just that if Mom leaves alone, even if I want to go with you, you won’t take me. But if Dad returns, and I want to go, you’ll take me, right? After all, you two, as a couple, do you have the heart to leave your son here?”
Freya pinched his cheek, “How old are you?”
Kai blinked, “Mom, will you take me?”
Elijah picked up the invitation and looked at it.
Freya asked, “How about we go back together with the two children?”
“Go back? Go where?” Sacha, who had just entered, asked.
Evan held her arm and said, “Walk slower.”
“It’s okay,” Sacha waved her hand.
Evan was anxious all the time, “Be careful, you’ll regret it if something happens again.”
Sacha slowed down her pace.
Elijah put down the invitation and asked, “Why do you keep coming back here all the time?”
Evan scratched his head, “Sacha is bored at home and has nowhere else to go, so she comes here.”
Freya asked, “Have you had dinner? If not, have it here.”
Sacha said, “I’ve already eaten.”
She then noticed the invitation and asked, “Whose invitation is this?”
Freya showed her.
She opened it, and Evan, standing next to her, raised his eyebrows in surprise. It seemed he didn’t expect Orion and Luna to move so quickly to getting married.
“We should bless them since they have feelings for each other and can be together now,” Freya said.
Evan agreed, “That’s for sure.”
“So, are you going back to attend the wedding?” Sacha inquired.
Freya said, “We’re still discussing it.”
Sacha immediately said, “I also want to go back.”
Evan quickly became unsettled and firmly declined, “No.”
Sacha argued, “If all of you go back, what shall I do all alone here?”
She had been really bored during her pregnancy.
Evan coaxed, “Just endure a little longer.”
Once she gave birth, she would be free.
“If that’s the case, if my sister-in-law’s family goes back, I’ll go too. Rest assured, I’ll be careful, and I really don’t have any physical discomfort now, right?” Sacha grabbed Evan’s arm.
“Okay?”
Evan, persuaded by her persistence, agreed, “Okay, okay.”
Kai blinked, “Mom, what should we do?”
