Your Guise Is Slipping, Miss Pearl

Chapter 1253

Chapter 1253

Finnegan put his drink down and stretched out his arm to her. "May I have the honor of dancing with you, beautiful lady?"

Esther found his formal way of asking both funny and charming. She agreed and gave him her hand, saying," It's my pleasure."

As they got ready to dance, Esther noticed it wasn't a slow waltz but a Truyya dance. It was lively and simple yet full of energy. But she didn't know how to dance it at all.

When the music started and everyone began to move gracefully, she just stood there, unsure. It was all too fast and blurry for her to catch on.

Finnegan noticed her hesitation and pulled her closer. "Don't worry. Just follow my lead."

Esther nodded but still felt stuck. Finnegan chuckled and said, 'It's fine to mess up. No one's watching us." "Alright." That helped Esther relax. She realized that she was too nervous and shy because she was afraid of making a mistake and decided to just go with it.

After they danced, Finnegan wanted to keep going, but Esther refused. 'I think I'll stop. Dancing isn't really my thing."

Although she wasn't as embarrassed as before, she didn't want to keep trying.

"Okay, I won't force you then."

As they left the dance floor, a woman dressed nicely asked Finnegan for a dance.

"You're a great dancer. May I have a dance with you?" She looked nervous, as if she was afraid of being refused. This belongs to NôvelDrama.Org - ©.

Finnegan was going to decline, but he saw Esther encouraging him. So, he acted out of spite and accepted the woman's invitation. "Sure. Let's go."

The woman was surprised but happy he agreed. They went to the dance floor, and Finnegan kept glancing at Esther.

Esther was relieved to be done with dancing. She took out her phone to look at the news. Suddenly, a man's voice made her jump. "Why are you sitting here alone instead of dancing?" Startled, Esther looked up to see a man in a suit smiling at her. His smile made her feel at ease. "I just don't feel like dancing," she replied. She didn't tell him she couldn't dance.

However, the man seemed even more interested in her. "I saw you dance earlier."

Esther smiled awkwardly. "Since you've seen it, why bother asking me?"

At first, she tried to act cool, but he noticed she was embarrassed. So, she simply admitted she couldn't dance. "You don't have to be embarrassed. I thought your dancing was very cute and wanted to chat with you."
