Goodbye, Mr. Ex: I've Remarried Mr. Right

Chapter 754

Debra quickly pulled herself together and settled down on a bench nearby.

In no time, several cars arrived. Drake stepped out, with Kale and several others trailing behind him.

As they passed, none of them seemed to notice her. Debra called out in a teasing tone, "Mr. Lowe, where are you going in such a hurry?"

Drake halted, momentarily taken aback. He turned, half-expecting his mind to be playing tricks on him, but there she was, casually seated on a bench. The cold wind ruffled her hair and gave her an almost ethereal quality.

Kale frowned. "Boss, do you want me to grab her?"

"Stay here," Drake ordered.

"Yes, boss."

Drake strode over to Debra and seized her arm with an iron grip.

"Ouch!" Debra winced, glaring up at him. "What are you doing?"

"I want to ask you the same thing," Drake snapped. "You've got some nerve to go with a random guy."

Debra shrugged. "Do you really care who I leave with?"

Drake's chest tightened with frustration. He stared into her defiant eyes, torn between scolding her and maintaining control over his emotions. "Kale, take her back," he finally commanded.

"Yes, boss." Kale stepped forward, motioning for Debra to move.

Debra took a couple of steps, but then Drake's voice halted them.

"Wait."

"Anything else?"

"Where's the man you left with?"

Drake scanned the area, but there wasn't another soul.

"He's gone."

"He just left with nothing?" Drake approached her again, his eyes narrowing. "Do you think I'll believe that?"

"I told him I was your woman, and if

he ran like his life depended on Debra chuckled. "I have to say, your reputation here in Orkgate is something to behold, just like Juan in Seamar City."

She was making a point, and Drake's suspicion was dispelled.

"Take her away."

"Got it."

Kale followed closely behind Debra.

As they walked off, a fine sheen of sweat beaded on Debra's back, but she managed to keep her composure. She'd narrowly avoided disaster tonight and had gained valuable information about Drake's operations.

Now, her next move was to find a way to access the third floor.

As they left the square, a woman lurking in the shadows sneered.

Moments later, Ava stepped out from behind the trees. If she hadn't been demoted from her position as a dealer, she wouldn't have had the chance to witness such a delicious scene.

It turned out Debra was seducing Drake and cheating on him at the same time.

Ava smirked, obtaining the leverage she needed. Once she told Drake about this, Debra would be doomed.
