My Aloof Sisters Asked for My Forgiveness

“Ms. Langley, it’s truly a shame that we didn’t meet sooner. My name is Michael Carson. I’m from Central Harbor’s Carson family. I wonder if you would be kind enough to add me on Facebook?” the young man in the lead asked,

He was handsome and had a wealthy background. Most women were not able to resist such charms.

Simone looked shocked.

“Central Harbor’s Carson family?” She was quite surprised.

The Carson family was one of Lovellia’s most powerful families, much more powerful than those in Rivenesco.

Yet, Simone still refused him.

“I apologize, but my friend list is at its limit.”

Michael and his friends froze. Text © 2024 NôvelDrama.Org.

“Let’s go, Dustin,” Simone said as she took Dustin’s hand.

“Ms. Langley, it’s always good to have more friends…” Michael did not give up. He raised his hand to block their way.

The more Simone turned him down, the more he wanted to win her over.

Dustin’s gaze turned sharp.

“Get out of the way!” he said.

The faces of the three darkened.

They were already displeased by Simone’s rejection. It made it even worse to be yelled at by this simple and plain–looking man.

“What did you say? I didn’t hear you clearly.” Michael looked icily at Dustin.

The Carson family was wealthy in Central Harbor, so they looked down on the wealthy people of Rivenesco. This random trash really did not know what was coming for him…

“Hey, punk! Say that again if you have the guts.” The two young men behind Michael looked at him threateningly.

“How dare you talk to Michael that way? You want to die?”

Dustin smirked.

He gestured to Michael to come forward.

Michael scoffed and moved closer. He did not believe that Dustin could hurt him in the slightest.

Dustin glared at him. Suddenly, his hand shot out and gripped Michael by the neck. Dustin lifted Michael off the floor.

Michael’s eyes widened as he kicked his legs and struggled.

“You b*stard! You’re nuts!”

The two young men behind Michael were stunned.

“Let go of Michael now!” They rushed at Dustin.

Dustin’s leg shifted.

In the next second, the two men crashed to the floor and groaned in pain.

The commotion made the whole hall go quiet. People poked over at them.

“Isn’t… Isn’t that Michael Carson from Central Harbor’s Carson family? I can’t believe someone attacked him…” Someone recognized Michael. They looked thunderstruck,

“Who is that man? Isn’t he afraid of the Carson family?”

“Dustin… don’t do this. It’s not worth it…” Simone was taken aback.

The Carson family was one of Lovellia’s greatest familles. They were in a different league than those in

Rivenesco.

“These scoundrels should be punished just for trying to get close to you!” Dustin said coldly,

His eyes shone with murderous intent.

Michael could not breathe properly. He was scared and angry.

No one in Central Harbor dared to make any kind of move against him. He could not believe that someone from a place as insignificant as Rivenesco dared to do such a thing!

“Let go of me, or I’ll kill you!” he said viciously.

Dustin grinned. He loosened his hold, and Michael landed on the floor.

Michael honestly thought that Dustin was intimidated by him. He was about to shout again when a foot landed on him.

He spat out a mouthful of blood. His face paled.

“Michael!” His two lackeys were terrified.

Michael looked like he was about to die. It was horrifying.

The surrounding onlookers were scared as well.

They were amazed that Dustin seemed so unafraid of what Michael could do to him.

In the backstage of the exhibition hall, the star of the day’s art exhibition, Clara, was calmly taking care of some affairs.

When she received the news of what had happened, her face twisted in rage.

“That wretched Dustin! How dare he attempt to murder Mr. Carson?”

Clara lost her cool. She quickly walked out from backstage and sprinted toward the commotion…
