Chapter 219 What Is In A Torture?
Slowly my eyes flicker open as I am being forced out of the van. I stumble in what is just mud at my feet, with rain pounding down onto my skin. With much force, they drag me to an entrance; the door slowly creaks open, and I can smell something that has been rotten in here for days.
Just as we step through the door of what seems like an old basement, everything goes black…
I wake up.
My head is pounding.
It is throbbing.
But before I can even think of opening my eyes, there is a blow to my head.
“Goddammit!” My voice echoes to the corners of the room, bouncing back off the walls.
Then next, there is another blow to my head.
I am out.
Then I wake up again. I shake my head and soon become aware of my surroundings. I have a blindfold on, tied on a bit too tightly. I am tied to what feels like a pole; it is cold and smooth to the touch. My feet are tied to the chair that I am sitting on, which is probably tied to the pole as well.
They have made sure that there is no way that I can move or even attempt to get out. All hopes of breaking loose have just gone out the door. Then there is a door opening, and I can hear someone enter the room. It sounds like it is only one person. The footsteps are heavy; it is definitely a man. He stops in front of me but does not say a word. He is standing close enough to me that I can smell the scent of his spicy cologne.
I cannot see through my blindfold, but I can sense from his movement what he is about to do. He smashes the flat of his hand into my face. My neck snaps to the left.
He changes hands and smacks me with so much force that my neck snaps to the right.
“Take this goddamn thing off my face,” I order him. If he is going to beat the crap out of me, then I at least want to see his face.
Sensing that he is dissatisfied with his attack, He jabs me square into my right temple; I can almost feel the skin split as the blood starts flowing down my cheek.
“Take this thing off my eyes, at least be a man and let me face you!”
He only but rumbles from his chest.
His second attempt makes contact with the bridge of my nose; I can taste the blood as it rests on my lips. There is no way I am getting out of this; he is clearly here to destroy me. He has not said a word to me yet. My face is taking a pounding; I have stopped counting where he has ripped my skin open; blood is coming from places I did not even think it is possible to come from. I can smell and taste it.
“You better hope that I don’t get loose from here,” the threat comes loud and clear through my voice without even trembling. “I am ripping that damn tongue of yours out, seeing that you can’t talk.”
He punches me right in the guts, “You are going to have to do better than that.”
He punches me again but with more force.
His fist snaps my neck, and I am out.
I come to again. My head is pounding worse than it did before. My face feels battered and bruised; the dry blood pulls at my skin. There is pain stinging from where he punched me in my guts. My body is taking a beating, and I think this is only the beginning.
What hurts the most is that Cassidy must be worried sick. I do not know if I am going to make it out of here alive.
I am ripped from my thoughts as I hear the door opening. This time there are two sets of footsteps. Neither one says a thing as they come to a stop in front of me.
“Did you bring a friend?” I ask the man that is still silent. “Are they as mute as you?” With that, he turns around and leaves the room.
Then someone slaps me in my face.
“A girl hits harder than that.”
I hear them walk away to the other side of the room; they are whispering. I cannot hear if it is a familiar voice nor what they are saying. The whispering turns into arguing. After quite a bit of time, they walk back to me. The man starts pulling at my blindfold to loosen it. He takes it off. It takes a few seconds for my eyes to adjust to the dark. I stare at the two of them that it is standing in front of me. Everything comes into focus.
“Who are you?”
These are not familiar faces to me. I have no idea who they are, but I am guessing that they are here to warm me up for Vladamir’s imminent arrival.
I burst out laughing at the scene that was unfolding in front of me. “And what it is that you two idiots think that you can do to me that your friend has not already done?”
The first of the two Vampires steps towards me, “You are so going to wish you never said that. I will take you apart bit by bit.”
“My dear friend, I do not think that you even know how to torture your hand.”
Then he with one ominous slow move, he slips what seems to be a rather large dagger from the back of his pants, “What if we just cut yours off.”
“That means you are going to have to untie me,” I only but smirk at him, “You better be faster than me then.”© NôvelDrama.Org - All rights reserved.
“You quite sure of yourself.”
“Oh, my friend, I don’t think you have any idea whom you are dealing with.”
I watch as the Vampire with the deep silver hair gets slightly annoyed at the whole situation with the other Vampire and me. “I did not think that you were going to be so annoying,” he says as he waves his dagger in front of me.
“Then why catch my annoying ass in the first place?”
“You think we are going to fall for that. Just wait until the Master comes.”
“Ah, so you are just keeping me company until he arrives.”
The silver-haired Vampire steps another step closer to me as he starts pointing his dagger into the sensitive part of my neck. “I say we kill him. His voice is irritating me.”
I only but chuckle at him while I try to loosen from the grip of the cuffs on my wrists, but it is futile, yet, “You better hope that I do not get free from here before your Master decides to show his face.”
The other Vampire takes the grip of his dagger and smashes it into my temple again, this time hitting me on the brow. I feel it tear into my flesh deep enough to feel the blood drip down my face.
“All you are doing is soaking that toy in my blood.”
There is a hideous rumble that comes from his chest as he steps back, “That is the whole purpose.”
“Well, are you going to stand here the whole day and hit me with your dagger then?”
“You are really starting to annoy me,” the silver-haired Vampire says as he hisses through his teeth. “The Master and they will be here any minute now.”
“You fucking idiot,” the other Vampire snaps at him.
“Ah, should have told me then I could have brought my own date as well.”
“You are going to wish you dead,” the silver-haired Vampire growls at me.
“My friend, I am already dead.”
Then the other Vampire brings his dagger back to the side of my neck, “For someone tied to a chair, you sure have a big mouth.”
“Because someone like me to have nothing to lose.”
“What about the girl in the red? Won’t she miss you?”
Well, taken aback by a sharp observation, I only but smile at him, “I see you are more than just a pretty face.”
But I need to remind myself that anything I say now will only put Cassidy in danger. So I refrain from mentioning her again.
Then they place the blindfold over my eyes again before leaving the room. It is pitch dark again. I can hear a scuffle and voices too faint to make out.
Then the door opens again.
I hear four sets of feet.
No one says a word.
Then the blows start to my face. It is not the same Vampire that was punching me the first time. His blows come with force; every blow snaps my face in the opposite direction.
Then the familiar voice of Vladamir comes echoing from the falls as he burst out in godawful laughter. “You can be glad we are not cutting that whoring cock of yours off.”
The other Vampire starts pounding on my face again.
But as soon as it starts, it stops as Vladamir’s voice hitches but a pitch, “Let the man out of his misery.”
The Vampire starts taking the blindfold from my eyes. Through swollen eyes, I can make the faces of four Vampires standing in front of me.
As their faces clearly come into focus…
“Why the fuck are you here?”
